THE MAYFLOWER COMPACTWHO SIGNED IT AND WHY?

One of the first lists of the Mayflower Compact’s signers was provided by William Bradford’s nephew, Nathaniel Morton.

There were 41 men signing the Mayflower Compact.

They believed that covenants were to be honored between God and man and between each other.

They had honored covenants as part of their righteous integrity.

schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

II TIMOTHY 3:15-17 15And that from a child thou hast known the

holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

THE MAYFLOWER COMPACT The Glory of God Romans 15:5-7 5Now the God of patience and consolation

grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

6That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
