The Orange County (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated embraces the goals, ideals and service to the community mandated from the national body. We continue to respond to the active involvement of community members in programs and activities that contribute to the positive development and enhancement of young people, their families and underserved populations through our five Facets:

service organization committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the
cultural and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of
African ancestry.

Orange County (CA) Links are business and civic leaders, role models, mentors,
activists and volunteers who work towards a common vision by engaging
like-minded organizations and individuals for partnership.
Our Programs International Trends and Services -‐ The problem: 100 million children globally have poor vision, harming their education. Our response: members of this facet work directly with medical volunteers and Friends of the Children of Lascahobas to collect and distribute eyeglass frames to the children of Haiti.
Health and Human Services -‐A major focus of this Facet is to inform chapter members so they can become ambassadors of health in their families and communities and play a significant role in the maintenance of good health and the elimination of chronic health disparities in underserved populations.
The chapter also Implements local mentoring programs, awards college scholarships and supports Historically Black Colleges and Universities through our Debutante Program and HBCU Initiative
Our Mission Working closely with partners, sponsors and supporters, The Links, Incorporated is focused on creating transformational programming and impacting lives in communities of color.
Services to Youth -‐Partner with schools and afterschool care facilities to bring STEM projects and other opportunities for enrichment to students in our service area.
The Arts -‐ Highlight the work of outstanding African American authors through out annual Book Signing event cosponsored by the City of Cerritos and the Cerritos Public Library
National Trends and Services -‐This Facet works with the women of WISE Place in the city of Santa Ana. Members collaborate with the staff to bring resources and programs that assist women re-‐enter society as contributing and successful citizens.
