Paying homage to this global icon of capability, strength and service on its 70th Anniversary, Land Rover Classic is creating the most powerful and the most refined Defender ever: Defender Works V8 70th Edition. No more than a 150 specially-selected vehicles will undergo the official Defender V8 Works 70th Edition conversion. Carried out by our experts at Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works, the conversion includes a 5.0 litre V8 powertrain that delivers 405PS and 515Nm of torque, an 8-speed automatic transmission, a specifically tuned suspension complemented by exclusive 18-inch diamond turned Sawtooth alloy wheels and other exclusive upgrades.

CELEBRATING 70 YEARS OF AN ICON

Classic Works harnesses the glorious and much celebrated past of Jaguar Land Rover to provide it a glorious future. The 14,000 m2 state-of-the-art facility, staffed by expert engineers and historic car specialists, is the ultimate and the only official destination for Land Rover conversions.

The Defender Works V8 70th Edition conversion will be applied to a 150 specially-selected Defenders from the 2012 model year onwards. Each of these vehicles will be sourced, assembled and meticulously refinished by our specialist teams dedicated to creating and supplying Authentic Cars.
