Our vehicle robots are fully animated. They move, talk, wink, blink, flash their lights, sound their siren, and other special effects, all operated by remote control. 2. Firehouse Subs Foundation https://firehousesubsfoundation.org was developed for helping local fireman get the funding they need.

3. FM Global Fire Prevention Grants https://fs20.formsite.com/fmglobal/form14/index.html This is one of the easier grants to apply for and “Decisions on awards are made approximately 3 - 4 months after deadline.”

4. Fire Grants Help https://firegrantshelp.com was formed to help fire departments locate grants and to get help on writing proposals.

ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

What about rush orders?Every effort will be made to expedite your order. Final assembly and testing on robots are done after your order is received to ensure quality. Please plan ahead and place your order well in advance of your needs. Rush orders can be accommodated, but the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping charges.

What’s available in light bars?Red, blue and red/blue split light bars are standard. Any variations from these colors will require an additional charge to cover the cost of fabrication.

How much are shipping and taxes?Shipping varies with the item sold, destination, etc. Our sales representatives will quote shipping upfront so there is no question about cost. Because taxes vary depending on your state and tax status, please check with your tax expert.

What about special body colors?Standard body colors are indicated for each specific robot. If you need a non-standard color, you may order an all-white body, and paint it as desired. Bodies are molded of ABS plastic and are easily painted.

Can I operate several robots together?Yes and no! With our new 2.4 GHz radio controls, you should not experience any frequency conflicts. Interference between voice systems is more difficult to prevent because of the limited number of available frequencies. On occasions where more than one robot is present at an activity, it works well to alternate operation. In any case, we would be glad to help you with any technical questions related to this subject.

Can options and add-ons be installed later?Definitely, they can! However, prices shown are calculated for options installed during final assembly of your robot. These prices take into account parts which may be omitted when certain other parts are added. Thus, when options are ordered after delivery, the price will be higher.

When painting my robot what type of paint should I use?We recommend that you talk with your local paint store for applications to ABS plastic. Spray paint such as Krylon work, but automotive paint is best (please call for suggestions).

Can I run my robot outside on dirt and grassy areas?The robot operates best on smooth flat surfaces. Tile, carpet, concrete and asphalt are acceptable. Dirt, gravel and grass are not good operating surfaces.

How does Robotronics assist with competitive comparisons?Our products are distinctive because of their unique industrial-grade construction, microprocessor-based functionality, durability, and the characters are easily recognized as realistic, life-like, attractive and friendly. Is there any way we can give recognition to our department or sponsoring organizations on the robot or coloring books?Yes. On the back of each vehicle robot is a license plate that can be imprinted with your department’s name or sponsor. On Pluggie it is a nameplate. It is important that you specify what you would like on this plate at the time you order. Coloring books have an area for sponsor information that can be added after purchase, or imprinted by Robotronics.

Do your products have a Warranty?All our products have a limited 12-month warranty, which covers all parts and labor. This period covers the normal burn-in for electronic components. Experience has shown that this warranty period catches most component defects and other possible flaws. If you have a problem, we are anxious to help. Our desire is to be certain you receive a quality product and excellent service. Extended warranties are available.

Do you offer service on your products?If you experience any difficulties after the purchase of a product, call our Service Department. It is important that you call when you are aware of any problems so that we can help you solve the matter quickly and have your product operating effectively.
