The Kuna are one of the seven indigenous groups in Panama. The Kuna people are located on the San Blas islands which are coral atolls surrounded by beautiful clear waters on the Caribbean side of Panama . The Kuna live in small communities on these rural islands in family units of between 5 and 10 members in each hut. Kuna women are known for their traditional dress and beautiful handicraft called molas which are reverse appliques.
