Our inaugural 2012 race raised £ 7,000, so thanks to everyone who took part!

PARKING There is a car park in Grove Woods, and also parking available in the school. If these become full our Car Park

Marshalls will direct you to local roads for parking. To make this race a success for future years, please park

considerably around the school, do not block drives, and obey all instructions by our Marshals. Please car share if at

all possible.

RACE HQ AND ROUTE We are very lucky to be able to use Grove Wood Primary School as our HQ, and there will be a

baggage area, refreshments, charity stalls, and toilets in and around the Sports Hall, where we

will also be selling the event t-shirts.

Please respect our HQ, use the bins provided and do not wear muddy shoes in the Sports Hall.

We respectively request that Grove Wood Primary School is a Smoke Free zone, and no

smoking is allowed anywhere within the grounds of the HQ. Thank you.

The route is undulating, and may be rutted in places so please take care and observe all instructions given by our

marshals. It is not suitable for spikes or wheelchair competitors. There will be one water station on the course. Please

do not throw part-empty bottles/cups into the woods, but leave for collection in the bins provided.

DO NOT DROP LITTER ON THE COURSE. We do not have sole use of the route, so please be aware of Horses,

Walkers, Dogs, Cyclists, other Runners, and please be nice to anyone you meet during the race.

Running confirms you are medically fit to compete and enter at your own risk.

The organisers will not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage caused by participation in this event.

There is also a sponsorship form enclosed with your race number if you wish to raise funds for these worthy causes.
