The Khyber Himalayan Resort is located in Gulmarg at an

altitude of 2,690 meters (8,825 feet) in the Himalayas.

It is 65 kms from Srinagar International Airport, a

90 minute picturesque drive through fir-covered hillsides.

The resort has 80 bedrooms and 5 luxury cottages

including a Presidential Cottage.

SPA AND FITNESS

The Spa at The Khyber has three single and two double

treatment rooms and offers holistic Indian as well as

western treatments. The Gymnasium is fitted with state

of the art exercise equipment, sauna, steam and has pro

fitness trainers. An indoor heated swimming pool with

double height glazing to let the view in is a treat round

the year. (Opening summer 2013.)

RECREATION

The Khyber is a ski in-ski out resort with access to some

of Asia’s finest slopes in winter. The Gulmarg Gondola

which reaches the highest ski point in the world (13,780

feet) is an easy walk from the resort. In summer there

are opportunities for adventure enthusiasts as well

as beginners to trek through scenic mountain trails.

Golfing on the world’s highest course is an exhilarating

experience. In spring the meadows, carpeted with fresh

blooms, are great for nature walks and picnics. A snooker
