The Jerrabomberra Fair is on again and the weatherman has promised a sunny day!

Preparations are well advanced for what is shaping up to be another great fair atthe Jerrabomberra Community Centre. The date is locked in for Saturday 23 Marchand many vendors and stalls have already booked their sites. So what is on for offerto the local community?

As with past years, activities commence on the evening of Friday 22 March, with aninvitation-only cocktail party to open the Jerrabomberra Rotary and Bendigo BankArt Show and unveil the work by many local artists. The art show will then be opento all comers on the day of the fair, Saturday, 23 March, and the artworks can be

purchased at that time. Other activities occurring on the Saturday include the usualgreat entertainment and fun that Jerrabomberra Rotary and their supporters provideat their Annual Autumn Fair. This year will see the customary assortment of ridesfor the children, great local and interstate entertainers, the infamous fishingcompetition to find that fish, an all-day BBQ, home bakes, vendors selling a varietyof goods, and an enormous collection of pre-loved books to buy and while away aSunday afternoon.

So come along, enjoy the day with your family, neighbours and friends, wandering

around the various stalls, entertaining the children, or buying art for that empty wallat home. Alternatively, just sit by the water to munch a meal and watch the funwhile being entertained. Better still, lie back and read a book purchased from one ofthe stalls.

The fair will run from 9am through to 2pm with a full program of events andactivities. So whether you drop in for breakfast, morning tea or lunch, dont miss agreat day to enjoy yourself and be involved with this community event.
