The Jungle

ne day two children go for a walk in the jungle.

They get tired and sit down under a big tree to

rest. They fall asleep. While they are sleeping,

two monkeys in the tree climb down and steal their hats.

When they wake up, their hats are gone! They look up and

see the monkeys in the tree, with their hats on!

The children want their hats.

They clap their hands but the

monkeys clap their hands, too.

They stamp their feet, but the monkeys just stamp their feet, too.

They shake their fists but the monkeys shake their fists, too.

They jump up and down but the monkeys just jump up and

down, too.

The children see that the monkeys repeat everything they

do. At last, they have a plan. They put their scarves on their

heads. They throw the scarves up in the air. The monkeys

throw their hats up in the air. The hats and scarves fall to

the ground. The children pick up their scarves and hats. As

they leave, they wave to the monkeys... and of course, the

monkeys wave, too!

11. Nellie the ElephantListen to the song. Now sing along.

Nellie the Elephant waves her trunk

And says goodbye to the circus,

Off she stomps with a trumpety- trump,

Trump, trump, trump!

The head of the herd is calling

Far, far away,

She leaves one night

In the pale moonlight,

And arrives in the jungle next day.

Ooooooh......Nellie the Elephant waves her trunk

And says hello to the jungle,

In she stomps with a trumpety- trump,

Trump, trump, trump!
