We, the seniors class of 1952
proudly dedicate this volume of the Jo-
sephinum to our teacher, Father Peter
Quinn
•
We are proud and happy to have had
him as our teacher. And we thank you,
Father, for having inspired us to aim
high and straight* We promise to make
every effort not to fall short of that
aim.
To our pastor Father Julian Endler, C» P. we extend
our sincere gratitude and devotion for all the happy years
that we have spent at St. Joseph's. We will never forget
his fatherly interest and his spiritual guidance during our
years at St. Joseph's. May God give him the strength,
ability and courage to carry on at St. Joseph 1 s as he has
done in the past.
Father Howard Chirdon CP.,
our new religion teacher; young,
zealous, anxious to please. His
deep interest in religion keeps
us constantly studying. If we
could satisfy him we would know
our religion well.
Father Michael Anthony
Campbell, C. P. * our former
religion teacher; full of
energy, kind and sympathetic.
He never seems to stop but
he always has time to do
something for you.

As you leave the portals of Saint Joseph'sSchool, determine to keep reaching higher and higher forthe finer things of life-, for the honor and glory of Godand country. Ever be noble, clean, God-fearing, PutFirst Things-First! Build not just for time, but forEternity, And remember Father Julian's eyes will everfollow you. Let him always bo proud of you.

The Juniors of '52
are looking forward to
being seniors next year.
We, as a class are most
co-operative; our char-
actertistics are distinc-
tive. We stand united at
all times. We take part
in all activities. Next
year we expect to be a
forward and leading class.
Our number is small, but
our abilities and our de-
termination will bring us
to great achievements.

Many of you looking at this picture will never have
the pleasure of meeting the members of the Sophmore Class,
so perhaps you would like to meet them and learn something
about them through the medium of the yearbook.
Cassie Mae Gibbs travels five miles from Bayboro each
day in order to attend a Catholic School. Bernard Green
is the most ambitious boy we know. Lois Jarmond has a
wonderful class spirit. When ever we need a helping hand
Lois is there. Earl Stallings has a real sense of humor
and he is generally amused by one of the most fun-loving
and gay boys in the class, Odell Wilson. Earl Patrick is
really talented in many things. At present his work in the
Industrial Arts class has given him profit scholastically.
Last but not least is George Midgett. We left him until
last because he is usually late for important events. Hence
his famous saying: "What's going on around here?"
We present our Freshman Class. The four girls: Lilly-
Simmons, Edna Thomas, Dorothy Johnson, and Vivian Priestly
call themselves "The Pour Pals" and hope to fill the va-
cancy left by the graduating "Pals",
William Whitehurst was first place winner in the ora-
torical contest sponsored by the N.C.C.L.A. Samuel Oden
is a real student, rather shy but always ready to enjoy
life. Daniel Jarmond is the glamour boy of our class. He
is well liked by all. When it comes to pleasant disposi-
tions Roland Gibbs rates highest, Archie Bell, another
orator from our class was third place winner in the ora-
torical contest sponsored by the North Carolina State Col-
lege of Agriculture and Engineering. Whenever there is
mischief abroad you may be sure that William Brown is near.
This is our Freshman Class. A group of industrious
students who believe that all work and no play never
helped anyone.
