The examples of the “Green Stories”

• “A Little Frog”

• “A Piglet’s Visit”

“A Little Frog”

A smart little frog lived on the edge of a meadow, near the Sysa river. Once, when her parents went out, she ran away to the forest. She played there until she was tired and wanted to go home. But the forest was large and the little frog lost her way.

“A Little Frog”

At that time two hedgehogs were passing by. They saw a crying little frog and asked:

"Why are you crying, little frog?"

"I’ve lost the way! I don’t know where my home is! I want to Mommy!!!"

"We don’t know where you live, but we won’t leave you."

“A Little Frog”

Then a rabbit was passing by. The hedgehogs stopped him.

"Dear rabbit, maybe you know where this little frog lives?"

"No, I don’t, but she is so little. We can’t leave her alone here."

“A Little Frog”

Two ants were passing by in a hurry and the rabbit stopped them.

"Dear ants, maybe you know where this little frog lives?""Yes, we do, but her home is rather far away from here. We have to help her to go back".

“A Little Frog”

The hedgehogs, a rabbit and the ants took the little frog home where the parents were waiting for their daughter. They were scared because of her disappearance and didn’t know where they could look for her. When the frogs saw their daugther, they bacame very happy and thanked heartily the hedgehogs, a rabbit and the ants.

“A Piglet’s Visit”

There lived a rabbit in a small house near the forest. He planted and grew carrots, cabbages and other vegetables. Every morning he did exercises and ran to the forest.

“A Piglet’s Visit”

The rabbit lived quietly and was happy. But one day a guest visited the rabbit’s house. That was a foreigner: a piglet came out from behind the seas. The rabbit’s house impressed him very much and the piglet decided to stay there for the summer.

“A Piglet’s Visit”

At first the rabbit was very happy:

"My guest is a traveller. He has visited many different places and can tell me a lot!"

The piglet had also brought a lot of dainties: chocolates, crisps, chips and delicious drinks. The vegetables were forgotten as well as the exercises and running.

"A Piglet’s Visit”

Who knows, how long it would have lasted... But one morning somebody limped in the rabbit’s yard. It was a very strange creature: like an animal but not an animal, like a bird, but not a bird...The rabbit was scared. He thougth that the monster was going to attack his house:"I must fight... or run away... but the piglet...what will happens to him?"

“A Piglet’s Visit”

At that time an old owl, which was a good friend of the rabbit, landed on the roof and said:

"My dear rabbit, what are you afraid of? This is just a crow, bold and faded, but just a crow. By the way, your dear guest piglet spent last summer at her home. Before that she looked very beautiful but after the visit she became more likely a scary crow than a crow. Maybe, it is waiting for you, too?"

“A Piglet’s Visit”

The rabbit imagined himself being bold and limp, and was afraid of such a future. He asked the piglet to leave his house. Then the rabbit returned to his exercises, running and vegetables.
