Biblical Definition of InfluenceV.13. You are like salt for everyone on earth. But if salt no longer tastes like salt, how
can it make food taste salted? All it is good for is to be thrown out and walked on.
V.14. You are like light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill that cannot be
hidden,
V.15. and no one would light a lamp and put it under a clay pot. A lamp is placed on a
stand, where it can give light to everyone in the house.
V.16. Make your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise
your Father in heaven.

How do we become influencers?
1. We need a personal transformation – Romans 12:2
2. We need to seek God for a biblical understand on how our work and
calling is entwined – James 1:5-8
3. We need to serve the community - We gain influence when we as
the collective Church show unity and generosity to impact social ills
in our communities - Proverbs 14:20-21
4. We need to educate the next generation and encourage them to be
ministers everywhere they go – Proverbs 22:6
