Virtual reality
Every human has a need to belong, to be a part of a community. Technology offers social networking, multiplayer gamingand
3D virtual worlds. Virtual reality is changing how people live and interact with
each other.
A number of things that used to be done offline are now beingdone with someone else online.
Around 200 million people log on worldwide to play interactivecomputer games.
The desire to escape, also, pushes individuals spend numeroushours playing games online.
3D virtual communities like Second Life (SL) are other examplesof how people are connecting with each other. With over 1.5 million active users alone SL is like a virtual country
with an economy of its own.

Tech voidance
Avoid using digital technologyfor as long and as much aspossible.
Late adopters who view theworld today as a chaotic and
confused mess stick totradition. They are driven by simplicity. As a profile, Tech avoiders are
primarily older, less educatedand lower in income.
Baby Boomers are embracingtechnology 20 times faster thanthe younger generation, therefore in the long-run Techavoiders will be a rarity.

Conclusion
So what are the implications of thesechanges?
Constant evolution in the way welive as with the concept of fluid
planning or planning while in themidst of implementing. In the past, we had to be precise with
our schedules to meet someone. There was no such thing as last
minute unless there was anemergency.
