Message from the Principal Dear parents, staff, and students: As-Salamu `Alaykum, A warm welcome to our parents, staff and students to this month’s newsletter.
We the Iqra management, staff and students organized our first Inter Scholastic
Tournament held at Brigade Millenium that provided an opportunity to
students from various reputed schools to showcase their talents in a variety of
competitions. As the saying goes “Sow the seeds of hardwork, determination,
endurance and reap the rewards of achievement, success & self-fulfillment”,
our Iqranians proved it.
Iqranians got a ground to face competitors from other schools. Alhamdulillah,
Iqranians stole the show by bagging a lot of prizes. Their success has brought
fame and status to Iqra in a very special way. Various competitions were
categorised under the knowledge & Quran, Sciencetoons, Nextgen, Linguistic
Corrivals, Art Attack and Mathnasium clubs. It was an exposure to a variety of
skills. I would like to applaud the hard work of the parents, staff and students
towards the same.
Iqra Juniors celebrated the 4th Annual Day at the same venue. The tiny tots
presented a harmonious ensemble of the epic that sculpted the teachings of
Islam and the value system they are learning at school. Hoping the students put
in their efforts in revision classes that will be taking place.

Hadith of the Month
Abu Musa reported
Allah's Messenger (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص)
as saying: The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the owner of musk and of the one (iron-smith) blowing bellows, and the owner of musk would either offer you free of charge or you would buy it from him or you would smell its pleasant odour, and so far as one who blows the bellows is concerned, he would either burn your clothes or you shall have to smell its repugnant smell. (Sahih Al-Bukhari: 2628, Book 45, Hadith 189)
