MDP FOUNDATION ANNUAL LETTER: 2013 Successes 2

“Flower and bear fruit where you are planted and spread your seeds around.”

-Master Del Pe

2013 has been a remarkable year for us at the

MDP Foundation as we are fulfilling our mission to provide services that create a significant impact in health and well-being. These services have touched the lives of thousands of people in Austria, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, India, Italy, the Philippines, Uruguay, the U.K. and the United States. We have reached out to people from all walks of life; from the underserved at the grassroots level,

to privileged individuals and families (including those in the corporate sectors). We have opened an avenue for the latter group to offer their philanthropic services. Our mission is to serve as many people as possible regardless of race, creed and social status. In 2013 we have spread the teachings of our Founder, Master Del Pe globally with the help of our trainers, volunteers and life coaches who devoted their time to deliver complementary health services to the people.

Health problems like diabetes, hypertension, cancer and HIV/AIDS are a global concern as they affect the quality of life of many people thereby limiting their productivity and quality of life for both individuals and families. The good news is that the MDP Foundation's wellLIFE Program provides solutions to address these imbalances so people can enjoy success and live a meaningful and fulfilled life.

2013

In Texas, USA we offered the wellLIFE program to low-income students attending Houston colleges. The same strategy was initiated in Guatemala City among the staff, teachers and youths of Asociación Grupo Ceiba. In October 2013, we also offered services under our wellLIFE program to local families and communities at the Guatemalan, El Salvador and Colombian Consulates in Houston, Texas as a service provider at the Hispanic Bi-national Health Week. In 2013, we participated in Annual Inter-Agency Showcase at United Way in Houston and also participated in a

training session with public school principals and administrators in the Spring Independents School District in

wellLIFE Program in India

In Asia, particularly India and the Philippines, we have served families, corporate and non-government organizations by providing training in rejuvenation techniques such as the JustBE alive exercises and JustBE free meditation techniques. These strategies serve as tools to achieve balanced health at all levels (physical, vitality, emotional, mental and spiritual). In India, we have served various NGOs and communities most especially those that are working for the

welfare of the elderly. Our collaboration with industry and organizational leaders and executives enable us to

present our health programs to their members.

In May 2013, we worked with the “Help Age India” by training their staff and field workers in specially

designed programs which aim to teach participants how to revitalize fast and to regain life. JustBE alive and

JustBE free are proven to be effective tools that are easy to replicate. In our post-activity evaluation, we

received positive feedback and testimonials on the effectiveness of the exercises and breathing techniques

experienced by the elderly clients.

In the second and third quarter of 2013, we reached out to several Senior Citizen societies in Delhi and

overall, more than 500 elderly people are the recipients of the program. We have served many groups

namely: Senior Citizens Association of Neb Sarai; SCA-Tagore garden; SCA-Dwarka; SCA-Uttam Nagar and SCA-

Sheik Sarai. We also worked with “Panchvati Home” which is a healthcare facility for the elderly located in

Tughlakabad extension. These elderly residents benefited from the practicality of the program and for the

sudden boost of energy that they experienced.

wellLIFE Program in the Philippines

Throughout 2013, we reached out to the grassroots level in various villages in the Philippines and we inspired people in our mission to create awareness on the value of good health. We started with educational institutions as we collaborate with school administrators to offer them health programs that will have impact to their wellbeing. More than 800 school administrators, teachers and staff learned new tools to reduce their stress and fatigue. We provided JustBE Alive and JustBE Free stress and fatigue management training to Government and Non-Government organizations. We made a significant impact by bringing our services to the national Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), which provides services to the elderly. We also trained staff at several of the national Special Education Department’s (SPED) schools that educate children with special needs. One of our most significant social contributions in 2013 was when our team from the MDP Foundation went to the central Philippines in the province of Iloilo on November 22, 2013 to extend relief efforts to the communities that were affected by the super typhoon “Yolanda,” also known as typhoon “Haiyan.”

"We presented the MDP Organization's cash donation to Philippine Science High School, which is a

premier, highly competitive public school. The donation will go to the rebuilding of the Eastern Visayas

Campus in Tacloban, Leyte. This campus was totally devastated by the typhoon, displacing at least 350

students.

“We appreciate the hospitality shown us by Philippine Science High School West Visayas campus

Administration and Parents Teachers Association President Atty. Leo Sombriro and OIC Mr. Rey Lulu who

accepted our contribution and personally drove us from our early morning flight to Iloilo.”

In USA, we introduced our Compassion Fatigue Solutions Program to several groups:

1. The Association of Social Workers who work with HIV/AIDS at their annual conference in Chicago, organized by the Boston College School of Social Work.

2. The staff of Fundación Latino Americana contra el SIDA in Houston. 3. Caregivers at the Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority (MHMRA) of Harris County,

Houston. 4. Staff of Houston Area Community Services (HACS)

“Before attending the Compassion Fatigue Solutions Program, our caregivers were

stressed, tired and overwhelmed. After the event they felt rejuvenated and ready to take on the

rest of the day. The exercises and breathing techniques were easy to follow.

“I highly recommend that companies and organizations bring in MDP Foundation for their

employees and staff. I am truly grateful to MDP Foundation for what it has done for my agency

and the local community.”

- S.S., Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County

In Austria, we introduced the JustBE alive and JustBE free meditation to combat compassion fatigue at HealthCare24 in Wolfsberg, Carinthia. This institution provides specialized nursing services in homecare settings to the elderly, the differently abled, and people with special needs. The agency staff was impressed by the simple yet powerful techniques and they immediately felt the positive effect of

stress relief and revitalization.

Through the World Talent Share Program, the MDP Foundation is able to harness the wisdom of retirees who held leadership positions as executives and entrepreneurs in their respective fields of expertise. Our World Talent Share Program offers post-retirement opportunities as consultants and advisors to many social projects globally. Retired executives and entrepreneurs find the ability to share the expertise they honed throughout their careers provides high levels of fulfillment as they give back to society. In India, 2013 was a time when we expanded our collaborations with several retirees who shared their talent and wisdom to various organizations in New Delhi.

This program aims to train and mentor young people to achieve a more balanced life, to be of service and develop positive values. We include Leadership Training so children, teenagers and young adults can gain more confidence and make valuable contributions to society.

In 2012, the MDP Foundation collaborated with Fundacion Mayama in Guadalajara, Mexico where we also trained children in Aquarian Martial Arts Yoga Science (AMAYS).
