&On behalf of our Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida Board of Directors and staff, we are pleased to present our 2018 Annual Report.

We celebrated many milestones in 2018. We served more families than ever before, providing the comforts of HOME with free room accommodations, two meals a day, and most importantly, access to their critically ill child just minutes away. Through the wonderful generosity of AbbVie, we received the largest financial grant in our chapter’s history to complete the expansion of the third floor at the Ronald McDonald House on the campus of Nemours Children’s Hospital, adding nine bedrooms, and adding one bedroom at the Ronald McDonald House on the campus of AdventHealth for Children. Finally, we reached our most significant milestone by serving our 30,000th family since 1996. You made this happen!

Last year was also a time of extensive planning and positioning ourselves to strengthen our overall operations for the greatest efficiencies while addressing the continued needs of our children and families. The vision evolved into Project 2020, whereby, our goal is to completely refurbish our Ronald McDonald House on the campus of AdventHealth for Children and the Ronald McDonald House on the campus of Arnold Palmer Medical Center. You will hear more about Project 2020 as it becomes a reality!

As you review the enclosed report, please note the thousands of names and faces who made 2018 a year of milestones. Our impact numbers and milestones were made possible by all of our generous supporters. A heartfelt thank you to each of you who provided your time, talent, and treasure to help the 2,700 families we served last year.
