Who can believe its April already? The start of peak is only 6 monthsaway and Christmas will be knocking on our door before we know it.

It’s been a fantastic month for Gem; we claimed the Gaming Distributor award atthe infamous PCR Awards 2013 and have been nominated for two awards (HighStreet Distribution Team & Trade Marketing Team) at the MCV Awards whichtake place on the 14th April at the London Lancaster Hotel. My fingers are firmlycrossed for more success!

In my role as Commercial Operations Manager I work withall departments to ensure sustainable profitability for bothGem and our partners and am directly responsible for theGem Analytical division who manage Gem UK’s internaland external reporting.

Describe yourself in 3 words.Tall, Dark & Analytical

What was your first job and how did you get into it?My first ever paid job was as a paperboy. When I was 12 Ireally wanted MTV; Sky television was the only place toget it but sadly Mum and Dad couldn’t afford it.

To get around this I had my mum apply for a paper round inher name then I made the deliveries which paid £6.50 per

week. Back then, it was enough to cover the £4 a week forSky (with Sports and Movies and most importantly MTV!)and still left me £2.50 to go on a spending spree.

What did you want to be when you grew up? Iron Man

Who would you invite to the “Ultimate Dinner Party”? All the heads of organised religion in the world and ask thequestion “soooo which one of you is right?”

What would your superpower be? The ability to freeze time and still be able to move about.Imagine the mischief…

Healthy ComputingIt’s estimated that the typical user spends an average of 6 hours per day in front of acomputer.
