The witch falls asleep.

The witch is very angry. She explodes

nce upon a time there was a little hedgehog
called Hansel and a little squirrel called Gretel.
One day they go for a walk in the forest.
They walk and talk and walk and talk and
walk and talk.
They see a little house.
The house is made out of chocolate!
Hansel and Gretel are very hungry.
They eat some of the chocolate from the house.
Suddenly, a witch comes out of the house.
She is very angry because they are eating her house.
She takes Hansel and Gretel inside the house
She puts Hansel into a cage.
She wants to eat him for her dinner!
Then she hides the key to the cage.
She makes Gretel clean all of the house.
The witch falls asleep in a chair.
Gretel searches for the key.
She finds it.
She lets Hansel out of the cage.
They run out of the house all the way home.
The witch wakes up.
The house is empty!
She is so angry that she explodes!
Hansel and Gretel never go walking and talking in the forest again.

Crow is very happy. She loves cheese.
Crow sings. She drops the cheese.

ne day a crow is sitting in a tree.
She is trying to sing. Kwa, Kwa,
KWAAA!
Crows are not very good singers!
She sees something yellow on the ground.
She flies down to see.
It is a piece of cheese.
She picks it up with her beak.
She flies back up to the tree.
A fox sees the crow with the cheese.
“Hello Miss Crow”, says the fox.
The crow silently watches him.
“How pretty you are today” says the fox.
The crow smiles a little bit, still holding the
cheese in her beak.
“Your black feathers are very beautiful and your
beak is very shiny” says the fox.
The crow smiles a little more.
“I like your singing”, says the fox, “You are the best
singer in the forest! Can you sing a song for me?”
The crow is very happy.
She loves to sing.
She opens her beak to sing a song.
The cheese falls to the ground.
The Story of the Fox and the Crow

The clever fox immediately picks up the cheese.

He runs into the forest.
The crow is alone.
She is sad.

Her grandmother lives in the forest.
One day she goes to visit her grandmother.
Little Red Riding Hood walks through the forest.
She is very happy.
She sees a woodcutter.
“Hello” says Little Red Riding Hood.
“Hello”, says the woodcutter, “Where are you going?”
“I’m going to visit my grandmother”, says Little Red
Riding Hood.
“Be very careful” says the woodcutter “there is a big,
bad wolf in the forest”.
“I will be careful”, says Little Red Riding Hood.
She arrives at her grandmother’s house.
She goes into the house.
She sees her grandmother in bed.
But is it her grandmother?
No! It’s the big, bad wolf!
Granny what big eyes you have!” says Little Red
Riding Hood.
“All the better to see you with”, says the wolf.
“Granny what big ears you have!” says Little Red
Riding Hood.
“All the better to hear you with”, says the wolf.
“Granny what big teeth you have!” says Little Red
Riding Hood.
“All the better to eat you with”, says the wolf.
He jumps out of bed.
Little Red Riding Hood is very frightened!
Suddenly, the woodcutter arrives.
He chases the big, bad wolf out of the house and
out of the forest.
But where is Grandmother?
Little Red Riding Hood finds her grandmother hiding
under the bed.
And the big, bad wolf is never seen again.
