necessarily in the same order. A and B sit opposite each other and B is heavier than only C, who

is not neighbor of A, B is an immediate neighbor of F and D. The one who is the heaviest sits

Badminton. Cricket. Football. Hockey. Tennis and Volleyball (not necessarily in the same order)

in a week starting from Wednesday.

(i) Sixth day of the programme was holiday.

(ii) Tennis was telecast immediately after Hockey and Football was telecast on fifth day of the

programme.

(hi) Badminton was telecast on third day after Saturday and Hockey programme was telecast on

fourth day before the holiday.

(iv) Volleyball was not telecast on first day.

(i) There is a group of five persons M. N, O. P and Q of a family. They are businessman, farmer,

travel to office everyday by Virar fast local train which stops at five stations - Borivalli, Malad,

Andheri, Dadar and Church Gate respectively after it leaves the base station i.e. Virar. Three

among them get in at the base station. Harshit gets down at the next station at which Pratiksha

gets down. Dhanya does not get down with either Ashutosh or Manya. Saksham alone gets in at

Andheri station and gets down with Gagan after one station. Ashutosh travels between only two

Puzzle 1: Eight people T. S, A, D, F, G H and K are living in a building of seven floors. Ground floor of

that building is numbered 1, first floor is numbered 2, second floor is numbered 3, third floor is

numbered 4 and so on. Except one floor, all other floors have only one person but not necessarily

in the same order. T lives on 6th floor but he is not the neighbour of A and F. G lives

immediately above the K's floor. There are two persons on 5th floor. Neither G nor D lives on

5th floor. K does not live on 2nd and 3rd floors. H’s floor is not near to K’s floor.

Puzzle 2: Preeti, Qamar, Ram Sarita Tahir, Vartika and Sachin are seven friends working in TCS. They

work in three shifts- 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

There is. at least one and not more than three among them in any of these shifts. Each of them

get one day off i n every week from Monday to Sunday. Qamar works with only Tahir in 8:00

a.m. to 4:00 p.m. shift and his weekly off is immediate to the next of the off day of Preeti. Sarita

has weekly off on Sunday and she is not in the same shift with either Ram or Qamar. Preeti is in

Puzzle 3: Eight friends Andaz; Billu, Chirag, Dhriti, Elsy, Fatima, Garvit and Harkirat are sitting in a circle

but not necessarily in the same order. Four of them are facing outside and four of them are fac

ing the centre.

I. Elsy faces outside. Both the immediate neighbors of Elsy face the centre. Harkirat sits second

to the right of Elsy. Billu sits third to the left of Elsy.
