Slide Drying Oven TDO Sahara
The TDO Sahara is a convective oven for drying microscope slides in the laboratory.
From the outside, the TDO Sahara offers full insight into the drying chamber with its large glass window. This way, the user has permanent control over his specimen during the drying process. Drying times are set via touch controller. Either a time is set, or an infinite drying process can be started, for example when in need of drying a large amount of specimen.
The drying chamber offers space for up to 48 plastic slide holders on two stainless steel racks. Furthermore, for excess drip a collective tray is on the bottom of the chamber. Both the racks and the tray are easily removable which makes maintenance and cleaning an easy task. A carbon filter prevents contaminates from entering the drying chamber and harming the specimen. The safety of every specimen is ensured by a cool-down period at the end of the drying cycle.
The TDO Sahara warms up in just about one minute. For standard dryings, between 5 and 10 minutes are needed. The door closes magnetically to ensure no vapours or hot air evades from inside the chamber into the laboratory.
