The Fathers Love

Beloved,letusloveoneanother,becauseloveisfromGod;everyonewholovesisbornof

GodandknowsGod.WhoeverdoesnotlovedoesnotknowGod,forGodislove.Godslove

wasrevealedamongusinthisway:GodsentHisonlySonintotheworldsothatwemight

livethroughHim.Inthisislove,notthatwelovedGodbutthatHelovedusandsentHisSontobetheatoningsacrificeforoursins.Beloved,sinceGodlovedussomuch,weought

toloveoneanother.NoonehaseverseenGod:ifweloveoneanother,Godlivesinus,and

Hisloveisperfectedinus(IJn4:7-12).

TheentireChristianfaithisbasedonthespiritualprinciplethatGodisloveandtotruly

knowHim,wemustwalkinlove.WithoutloveforourbrothersandsistersinChrist,not

tomentionthelost,wecannotknowourHeavenlyFather,andtheoppositeisalsotrue.

WithoutloveforGod,wecannottrulyloveothers.Webegintoloveothersmoreaswe

understandtheloveGodHimselfhasforus.Often,however,duetolifescircumstances,

theloveofGodisblockedfromusreceivingwhatHehassograciouslybestowedupon

us.Eitherbychoiceswehavemade,orduetothepoorchoicesofothersthathavebeeninflicteduponus,evenasachild,blocksorbarricadesarefrequentlyconstructed.

Frequently, in theMinistryofDeliverance, there is a barrage ofblocks. TheseblocksmustberemovedtoallowtheflowofGodandHisloveintoanindividualslife.Those

whohavebeenabusedorignoredbytheirearthlyfatherfrequentlycannotreceivethefullnessoftheloveofGod.TheremaybeaheadknowledgeofHislove,butthefullness

of His love does not reach the heart. Therefore, those who have blocks cannot

experiencethefullnessoftheirinheritanceaschildrenoftheoneandonlylivingGod.Acriticalaspect ofdeliveranceministry istheability toconvey toothers the relentless,

unwaveringloveofGod,theFather.
