Quality Assurance - VTanalyzer

Traffic control and traffic management are based, either directly or indirectly, on detector data, for example in the form of local logics directly in the traffic light controller or in the form of refined data such as traffic state. Due to the large number of detectors, however, it is not possible to monitor detectors manually.

VTanalyzer provides automated quality monitoring and assessment of detector data. It helps to identify detector faults and problems in transmission channels quickly and easily.

Furthermore, VTanalyzer continuously checks the quality of the coordination and informs you of any deterioration in the green waves. This check is based on the reported signal times and requires only a minimum of parameterization effort.

Public Transportation Management - PUBLIQ

PUBLIQ is our product line developed especially to meet all the challenges posed by public transportation systems. PUBLIQ covers aspects such as timetable management and design, ticketing for special user groups (for example, school pupils), a computer-aided dispatch/automatic vehicle location (CAD/AVL) system that can be integrated into buses, dynamic passenger information and quality management systems. The integrated geographical information system (GIS) is extremely user-friendly.

PUBLIQ is particularly suitable for regional areas and small transport companies, where it stands for easy access to intermodal mobility services and smart control systems.

PUBLIQ customers can retain and improve their high public transport standards even in times of limited budgets.

The Traffic Situation - DRIVERS

In a modern traffic management center, data is accumulated from different sources. Floating Car Data (FCD), detector information, accident alerts and road works messages are just a few examples of traffic data from which intelligible information for the road user has to be generated.

DRIVERS allows you to collect this data and compare, validate and fuse it in real time. The model-based approach fills data gaps in the network and results in a coherent and comprehensive representation of the current and forecasted traffic situation.

Research

Developing new ideas and testing them in practice: fundamental development and research are an important part of the activities performed by GEVAS software. Many of our innovative concepts for traffic control and management have been developed in research projects.

In current projects, we are concentrating on technology for the road traffic of tomorrow, for example, Car2X communication, interconnected traffic systems and cooperative infrastructure.

A Complete Package for Mobility

GEVAS software focuses on standardized interfaces and open systems. We provide and support OCIT interfaces (OCIT Outstations, OCIT Instations, OCIT Center), the OTS2 communication standard and others, such as the European standard DATEX II.

Furthermore, we offer a connection to the Mobility Data Marketplace (MDM), a data messaging platform for providers of navigation services and traffic management data. MDM is the central platform for exchanging mobility data in Germany.

Open Interfaces

Traffic engineers can use the planning tools designed by GEVAS software to plan, test and assure the quality of control systems for traffic lights. CROSSIG has been in operation, proven and tested for several decades and thus represents the best choice for traffic engineers wishing to work both independently and flexibly.

Traffic management combines traffic control and traffic information to make optimal use of the road infrastructure in cities and urban areas.

A traffic management system identifies free capacity in the traffic network in advance, intervenes strategically in the control mechanisms and informs the road users, for example, on display boards, via radio messages, automatically via RDS/TMC or on tablets and smartphones.

Furthermore, traffic management provides vehicle manufacturers and suppliers of mobility services with traffic information. Cooperative traffic management then uses navigation devices and C2X assistance systems to supply the vehicles in the surrounding area with this information.
