How to join MRU River Tour BerlinHow to join MRU River Tour Berlin"McDonald’s Radio University" comes to Berlin. It offers a three-day lecture series with professors from Afganistan, Cameroon, Palestine, Syria, Sudan, Uganda and Ukraine from 21st to 23rd June 2018. The live lectures will be held during the River Tour on the Spree River and Landwehrkanal. They are only available via radio. Guests can board the McDonald's Radio University River Tour Berlin at four docking sites. The course syllabus with all offered lectures and directions to these different docking sites are listed on website: www.mru.global. Please follow the instructions below to enroll in the programme. Parallel to the live lectures of McDonald's Radio University River Tour Berlin, you can enjoy 15 archived lectures from McDonald's Radio University Frankfurt at the "McCafé" situated in HAU2 / Hebbel am Ufer, which at the same time serves as an archive and exhibition.

McDonald’s Radio University River Tour Berlin

In addition to the exhibition, we also opened McDonald’s Radio University in the city of Berlin. While we used actual McDonald’s restaurants for the Frankfurt version, the Berlin version of McDonald’s Radio University is a River Tour in which a “McShip” cruises around the city. Together with their colleagues in Frankfurt, the professors of the McDonald’s Radio University River Tour Berlin all share the experience of being named “refugees” in Germany.

The European Thinkbelt project is a project in progress. Its nucleus is McDonald’s Radio University, held at Künst lerhaus Mousonturm and McDonald’s restaurants throughout the city of Frankfurt in March 2017. The exhibition will be held at the "McCafé" situated in HAU2 / Hebbel am Ufer.
