DAY 1 Rome • Naples • Pompeii • Sorrento 275 km Early morning departure for Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, the guide will take you for a walking tour of the historical centre to admire the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Galleria Umberto I and the San Carlo Opera House. Lunch in a local restaurant of Neapolitan specialities. From Naples, continue to Pompeii and enjoy a short visit to a coral and cameo factory, followed by a guided visit of the city’s ruins, both destroyed and preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Continue towards Sorrento. Supper and accommodation in Sorrento.

DAY 2 Sorrento • Capri • Sorrento 40 km After breakfast, transfer to the port and depart by ferry to the island of Capri. Upon arrival at Marina Grande in Capri, you will visit the Blue Grotto (weather permitting), the Augustus Gardens and a stop at the famous Piazzetta. A minibus will take you up to Anacapri, located at the summit of the island. After lunch in Anacapri return to Marina Grande to board the ferry for your transfer back to the hotel in Sorrento. Supper and accommodation in Sorrento.

DAY 3 Sorrento • Amalfi 35 km After breakfast, depart for Amalfi along the splendid Amalfi Coast. En route, you will see the different fishing villages including Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. Upon arrival in Amalfi, check in at the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure. Supper and accommodation in Amalfi.

DAY 4 Amalfi Breakfast at the hotel. Time is at leisure to appreciate the beauty of this magnificent seaside city or to explore its surroundings. You can take a local bus to visit the vicinity or relax in front of the splendid panorama and take a swim in the Mediterranean sea. Supper and accommodation in Amalfi.

DAY 5 Amalfi • Pompeii • Rome 279 km Breakfast at the hotel. Morning is at leisure. In the afternoon you will be driven to Pompeii, where you will take the minibus to return to Rome. Depending on the traffic, the estimated arrival time in Rome is expected to be around 21:00 hrs.
