Goals of the Initiative

• An operational framework to assess governance and evaluate progress over time

• Improve communication and create space for environmental and social voices

• Build the capacity of major groups and governments to practice good governance

• Complement efforts to advance public interests

The Indonesia Assessment has Improved Transparency

• The Indonesian House of Representatives, website now features – agenda– list of work in progress– list of legislation passed– public message board for participation

Thai Assessment Draws Attention to EGAT
