Bolivia has 36 ethnics groups

AYMARA, ARAONA, BAURE, BÉSIRO, CANICHANA, CAVINEÑO, CAYUBABA, CHÁCOBO, CHIMÁN, ESE EJJA, GUARANÍ, GUARASU’WE, GUARAYU, ITONAMA, LECO, MACHAJUYAI-KALLAWAYA, MACHINERI, MAROPA, MOJEÑO-TRINITARIO, MOJEÑO-IGNACIANO, MORÉ, MOSETÉN, MOVIMA, PACAWARA, PUQUINA, QUECHUA, SIRIONÓ, TACANA, TAPIETE, TOROMONA, URU-CHIPAYA, WEENHAYEK, YAMINAWA, YUKI, YURACARÉ, ZAMUCO.

The PEB recognizes thirty-six cultures and languages as official.

The PEB is building a multicultural and

multilingual education.

Culture is complex totality of experiences and representations that provides coherence and meaning to live and especially to human coexistence.

Multiculturalism describes the existence, acceptance, or promotion of multiple cultural traditions within a single jurisdiction, usually considered in terms of the culture associated with an ethnic group.

Multicultural education Multicultural education describes a system of instruction that attempts to foster cultural pluralism and acknowledges the differences between races and cultures. It addresses the educational needs of a society that contains

more than one set of traditions, that is a mixture of many cultures.

Main goal Develop competencies and skills that allow them, as to all boys

and girls, be social and culturally competent in the global society based on respect and strengthen your own identity.

In 2011 started a new educational reform. There are three pillars with which it has started thinking about inclusive education for different cultures in Bolivia these are:

Building a multilingual education

Build an education that develops interculturalism

Build an education that preserves the moral codes of the indigenous nations, such as the respect for Mother Earth
