Elm Street DREAM Monthly Snapshot October 2012 Program Happenings and Highlights
• Elm Street DREAM hosted a very successful Chili Cook-off event that raised $222 for DREAM activities during the semester
• Mentors joined DREAM staff as well as mentors from Birchwood and Riverside programs for the Alumni Appeal which successfully received donations from 19 University of Vermont DREAM alumni
• Elm Street mentors volunteered at the Ben and Jerry’s factory over President’s weekend picking up trash, directing traffic and scooping ice cream as a fundraiser to help support programming
• Elm Street DREAM welcomed 21 new mentors! Participants Mentees Mentors Total: 37 Total: 39

Weekly Programming with Children
• Mentors and mentees got lost at Sam Mazza’s Corn Maze • Elm Street DREAM collaborated with Riverside DREAM to host the annual Chili Cook-
off which raised $222 for Elm Street DREAM • Elm Street DREAM enjoyed a great Friday of Bowling at Champlain Lanes • Mentors and mentees celebrated Halloween with a party at the Chill Out Zone in
