1st. Crisis Ed.II deposed & cruelly murdered. ( 1327)
Ed. III became king.
Principle Broken: “Kings were neither to be killed nor deposed”
End of 14th century:
Richard II *Second king to be killed. *Proud and young.
*Extremely unpopular (advisers).
*In 1388 he used his authority to humble the nobles. *Imprisoned his uncle Jhon of Gaunt the most powerful and wealthy noble of his time.
*In 1399 he was deposed by Duke Henry of Lancaster `s army.
