Funding boost for start-ups and small businesses in Adelaide’s north

State Government funding of $400,000 for the City of Salisbury’s Polaris Centre will benefit start-ups and small businesses in northern Adelaide.

Manufacturing and Innovation Minister Kyam Maher said the funding, over four years, would help to lift the digital capability of new and small-to-medium businesses.

“The funding will ensure owners and people running businesses in northern Adelaide can access the resources and tools they need to succeed and become globally competitive,” he said.

The Polaris Centre is funded by the City of Salisbury and in partnership with the University of South Australia and is supported by the City of Playford and offers a range of business support programs and services for the northern business community including an advisory service, an innovation program, coaching and mentoring, and business networking.
