Barriers of Communication
• Behind the communication process are several factors that inevitably spur bottlenecks in the way of efficient message sending and receiving.
• These obstacles concerning language use, the people involved, sounds, the environment and those of the immediate situation can obstruct the flow of meaning and cause communication breakdown.

Barriers which are classified . . .1. Personal
Personal barriers are real or imagined hindrances between you and the success you want to achieve.
2. InterpersonalIt occur due to the inappropriate transaction of words
between two or more people. The two broad categories into which this barrier can be classified are: Inefficiency in communication skills & negative aspect nurturing in the climate
3. Perceptual Are internal barriers that occur within a person's
mind when the person believes or perceives that the other person that they are going to speak with will not understand or be interested in what they have to say.
4. Environmental Are any part of the environment or surroundings
that can prevent communication or getting in touch with another person or something else
5. Physical Any disturbance or interference that reduces the
clarity and effectiveness of communication is called noise. Noise distracts the persons communication.
6. Organizational Occurs in the organization due to rules and
regulations relationships.
7. Semantic The systematic study of the meaning of words.
