• Cut aways to break up interviews and illustrate what they’re talking about and to avoid jump cuts

• Questions are edited out of the interview
• graphics saying who is being interviewed
• They are framed to the right or the left of the screen
• Eye line is 1/3 of the way down the screen when being interviewed
• Interviewee looks at the interviewer not at the camera
• Don’t ever film the interviewee when they have a light source behind them.
