Andrew Dunn and Shobna Gulati star in
Victoria Wood’s
Take one huge hit sitcom from BBC TV. Place on a stage in a
World Premiere national tour starring Andrew Dunn (Tony)
and Shobna Gulati (Anita) from the cast of the TV series.
Blend in Victoria Wood’s writing, undoubtedly some of the
funniest on television, and whip into a play based on the second
TV series, following the reluctant love story of Bren and Tony,
egged on by Dolly, Jean, Twinkle and Anita.
Mix in caretaker Stan’s words of wisdom and coat with regular
appearances by Phillippa from Human Resources and Petula,
Bren’s dreadful mother, and you have a recipe for madness,
mirth and twelve rounds of toast!

Hugh and Margaret Williams, The Grass Is Greener proved to be a
huge hit in London’s West End and went on to be adapted into an
award-winning movie starring Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr,
Robert Mitchum and Jean Simmons.
Heading the cast is Liza Goddard (Bergerac, Take Three Women,
Yes, Honestly, Take Three Girls, The Brothers, Dr Who, Midsomer

public, he risks more than the loss of his privacy, as his wife falls
madly in love with an irresistible American millionaire. In a desperate
attempt to save his marriage, the Earl decides to host a house-party,
enlisting the help of an old flame, with dangerous and hilarious
consequences! Throw in a wily old butler, and you have one of

THE AWARD-WINNINGTAP DANCING COMEDY
‘Comedyof theyear’ Evening Standard
In a dusty church hall, ex-professional dancer Mavis Turner
holds her weekly tap class. Every Thursday, in stumbles her
well-intentioned but not overly talented troupe – the awkward
but hugely enthusiastic Lynne, snooty Vera, streetwise Maxine
and the rest of the group – all brought together to dance as
if no one is watching, and hopefully no-one ever will!
That’s until they’re invited to perform at a charity gala. As
disbelief is replaced by sheer terror, can this bunch of amateurs
pull together and put on the performance of a lifetime?
Starring Jessie Wallace, who won the nation’s hearts as the
vivacious Kat Slater in EastEnders, Brian Capron, known to
millions for his award-winning portrayal of the sinister Richard
Hillman in Coronation Street, and Olivier Award-nominated
West End star Rosemary Ashe, this hilariously funny and
heart-warming play proves that, in dancing as in life,
it’s always better to follow your own tune.

THE WEST END’S BIGGEST COMEDY HIT
One of the West End’s biggest comedy hits is set to take the UK
by storm as Bill Kenwright’s critically acclaimed ‘savagely funny’,
‘seriously hilarious’, and ‘dazzling’ production of Alan
Ayckbourn’s Absurd Person Singular comes to Bromley.
It’s party time at the Hopcrofts and the only present they want
is to succeed in scaling the social ladder. Havoc ensues at the
drinks party they hold to impress their high-powered friends - but
that’s nothing compared to what happens over the next two years
when the friends return their hospitality!
Featuring an all star cast including Lisa Kay, best-known as
Nurse Carol Cassidy in ITV1’s Heartbeat, Elizabeth Carling,
well known for her lead performances in Casualty, Goodnight
Sweetheart and Barbara, Matthew Cottle, who starred in the
hilarious BBC comedy Game On, Stephen Beckett, well-known
from Coronation Street and The Bill, Deborah Grant, whose
numerous starring roles include Bergerac and the BBC’s hit

Step back in time and get ready to dance
with Ray Davies’ award-winning musical hit Come Dancing.
Originally produced at Theatre Royal Stratford East, Come Dancing
was a sell-out sensation that received rave reviews and public
acclaim at every spectacular performance!
Come Dancing is written by and stars the former front man of
The Kinks, Ray Davies, who penned some of the greatest songs
in pop history.
Come Dancing takes us back to the Palais Ballrooms of the 1950s,
where thousands would dance and romance at a time when rock ’n’
roll was bursting onto the scene. Featuring impressive dance routines
and a heart warming tale of teenage romance, the story is full of
classic hits and wonderful new songs in a show as timeless as its star.
Davies has always been known for his ability to tell stories with
his music, and this unforgettable musical is no different.
