THE CITY :: Beijing, ChinaBeijing has been China’s capital city for 3,000 years and is home to over 20 million people. Filled with ancient historical sites as well as modern buildings, Beijing is experiencing a cultural renaissance, prompting unparalleled investment in concert halls, school music programs, instruments and promotion of the arts. Now, more than ever, Beijing offers an opportunity for Western musicians to share their culture and passion for their art with another part of the world!

THE FESTIVAL :: 2015 China Children’s Choir FestivalPerform International is excited to present the 2015 China Children’s Choir Festival. The China Children’s Choir, the host choir for the festival, is one of the great children’s choirs in the world. The repertoire for the China Children’s Choir Festival will include works by Chinese and American composers and will be scored for treble voices. Imagine what it would mean for your choir to sing with children from the U.S. and China and engage in an exchange of Asian and American cultures.

THE VENUE :: The Forbidden City Music HallTiananmen Square is lined with monumental public buildings, fronting the legendary and once Forbidden City. The Forbidden City Music Hall will be the venue for the 2015 China Children’s Choir Festival. The Forbidden City is China’s best-preserved imperial palace and is known to be the world’s largest ancient palatial structure. It is widely known and regarded as the very culmination and true essence of the traditional architectural accomplishment of the Chinese civilization.
