Most exams will take place in the Sports Hall, with pupils lining up 10 mins before the exam start time in the tracks area.
Pupils will complete at least one of their GL assessments in their study bases (as these tests all need to be completed by all year groups on the same day)
GL assessments are national tests to measure pupils abilities in core subjects, sat by pupils across the Ark network and the UK.

MFL exams will take place in T01/2/3
Pupils with access arrangements will sit their exams in S11/12/13
Pupils will go their normal Civitas bases on Friday 1st July but from 0920 onwards and for morning registration the following week they will be based in
their study bases.
Pupils have set seats for all exams in the Sports Hall. Civitas tutors should got through these with them in advance.
The expectation in Independent Study sessions in study bases is that pupils use time effectively and work independently. HOHs will work with house teams
to make expectations explicit and ensure consistency.
There will be no Reading Groups or enrichment this week.
Pupils should only bring the equipment they need for the exam and a water bottle if required. They should leave portfolios in study bases.
These exams are important because -
• All assessments are an important part of the
learning process.
• They will bring together all the material
learned this year in each subject.
• Each year’s exams prepare pupils for the
greater challenges of future years.
• Pupils’ results will help decide teaching bands
and groups for next year.
