Liturgical Ministers
Dear friends in Christ,
Congratulations to the Confirmation students from North Linn Cluster who
were able to receive the sacrament from Archbishop Jackels last Sunday!
May the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth.
This coming weekend, we have the parable of the weeds and the
wheat. This is a good reminder that we aren't the ones who need to make
final judgments. We don't need to decide once and for all. But God can. God will not be
deceived or fooled. He shows his power now by giving people who do evil things time to
repent. He will show his power later by separating the good from the evil for all eternity. In
either case, may he be praised, for all his works are just and true.
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Nick

Enrollment Application Forms are coming in! We are
grateful for the attention our school families have given this.
Our planning is based on these numbers. If you can
interest other families in joining us, our school will
continue to grow and thrive.
Please help spread the word that St. Patrick School offers
small classrooms, individual attention, Faith-infused
curriculum, impressive standardized testing results and
specialized services to children with disabilities through the
Anamosa Community School District. Enrollment
Application Forms are available at school or on the school
website: www.stpatschool.us.

CHRIST BE OUR LIGHT SHINE THROUGH THE DARKNESS
Please contact Julia Bean, Director of Faith Formation, at
319-462-2141 if you are interested or need questions
answered.
Do you know anybody who is
thinking about becoming
Catholic? Please invite them to
contact us about the Rite of
Christian Initiation. We customize the formation for
each individual rather than having weekly classes.
Now might just be their time to take a step closer
to becoming Catholic. Also, please pray for them,
walk with them on their journey, and encourage
them to contact us when ready!

'Mental Health Minute' Videos
Has the COVID19 pandemic left you
feeling out of sorts in a way you can’t
quite describe? In addition to the physical toll, an emotional
heaviness is also being experienced by many. If you’re
experiencing these things, you’re not alone. Catholic
Charities licensed counselors have prepared ten (10), brief 2
-3 minute 'Mental Health Minute' videos on a variety of
topics, emotions and situations that parishioners may be
experiencing while being physically separated from their
parish communities. View all the Mental Health Minute
