Judging procedure• The judges named below will judge all the classes and challenge

certificates

• all the judges named above will judge the Best in Show & Best opposite Sex in Show

• The president plus 6 of the above judges will judge Best any age in Show

• The president plus 4 of the above judges will judge Best opposite Sex any age in Show

• The president plus 6 of the above judges will judge Best young Bird in Show

• The president plus 4 of the above judges will judge Best opposite Sex young Bird in Show

Birds will be staged by sections, not colour and only birds in the current style show cage will be allowed into the show hall including sales & auction of promises birds.

Drinkers can be either white finger draw type or blue mini flomatics marked “Christino” or “Budgerigar Society” as purchased from The Budgerigar Society.

There must be no trading or exchange of birds on the dome car parks or the areas immediately surrounding the dome. any such action will result in disciplinary proceedings.

no photographing of birds will be allowed until the show opens to the public and flash photography will not be allowed at any time except by The Society’s official photographers.

iMporTanT noTice To our oVerSeaS ViSiTorS

Sadly we have been unable to secure the services of a vet to attend the show to sign the necessary certificates to allow birds to be taken out of the UK.

Although we are still able to accept entries from outside of the UK, exhibitors should be aware that they will have to make their own arrangements to get their certificates signed by a DEFRA registered vet to allow them to take their birds back out of the UK.

We apologise for this, but it is a situation out of The Budgerigar Society’s control.

After booking in, you are invited to join Sue Smith, Ann Moore, Nancy Arrowsmith and their team of much appreciated helpers for a welcome cuppa. please ask for directions to the “welcome tea” area

The show would not be the attraction it is without members

exhibiting their birds. if you are a first time exhibitor then please

mark the appropriate box on the entry form. you will then receive

a voucher when you bench your birds which can be exchanged for a

free catalogue (worth £4) once the show is opened.
