We, the Catholic Parish of St. Stanislaus Kostka and the Catholic Parish of St. John Nepomucene, called to Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit,

and nourished by Word and Eucharist, commit our time, talent, and treasure to the growth of God's Reign in our world. -Mission Statement

Dear Parishioners, Welcome Fr. Dernek this weekend. I am grateful for his willingness to help out when I ask him. I was informed last week that my successor, Fr. Pat Arens, will not be able to assume his duties as pastor of the Basilica and St. John’s until August 17. I have been asked to stay on until then and I am willing to do so. A big “thank you” for all the good wishes, cards and gifts as I celebrated my 50th Anniversary as a priest. I will be gone from the parish until Friday, June 8. This weekend, we celebrate the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, this feast is also known as Corpus Christi….The Body of Christ. It is a time for us to renew our belief of the presence of Jesus under the form of unleavened bread and wine. It is also a time for us to make every effort to receive this sacrament as worthily as possible.

IN SYMPATHY We extend our prayers and sympathy to the family and friends of Antoinette Fox. May she rest in the peace of Christ.
