Diamante Eléctrico is Juan Galeano (Vocalist, Bass), Daniel Álvarez (Guitar), and Andee Zeta (Drums), three musicians from Colombia, whom Bob Lefsetz described as follows: "sounds like a fusion of Green Day and Muse, with a touch of Led Zeppelin." Since its beginnings in 2013, the band has become one of the most important bands inside the independent music scene in Colombia.

.The band released their first album, 'Diamante Eléctrico' in 2013, subsidizing it through a Kickstarter campaign, which made the group the first Colombian band to achieve this. When the audience began to listen to their raw rock and nuances of blues, they could not stop listening. The second single "Nos Rompemos Igual" reached the # 1 position in the Colombian radio listings.

At the end of 2014, the band released their successful second album called “B”. The tour took them to venues such as Rock al Parque, The LAMC, Vive Latino, and more. This production won the Latin Grammy in the category ‘Best Rock Album’. The group shared stages with The Foo Fighters and The Rolling Stones, that same year.

The album, 'La Gran Oscilación came out in mid-October 2016. This album was recorded in Bogota, in a completely analog way and with the help of engineer Joshua Smith (Jack White, The Raconteurs). The vocalist Juan Galeano affirms that the album is "more experimental and conceptual." On "Placebo", the first single of the recording the guitarist Daniel Álvarez adds "it is a good example of the rest of the album, because all the songs are written together". The themes "Déjala Rodar" and "Luz Secreta" also included in this release have had the support and recognition of the media and followers of the group in the US, Mexico and Colombia.

In November 2015 they won the Latin Grammy for ‘Best Album Rock” for their record ‘B’ along with a nomination in the category “Best Rock Song’ for the song “Todo Va a Arder’.

In 2017 Diamante Eléctrico won the Latin Grammy for "Best Rock Song" for "Dejala Rodar" and "Best Rock Album" for "La Gran Oscilación."

With new music, Diamante Eléctrico expects to release its new album during the second semester of 2018.
