What is Magic Power Gel?Magic Power Gel is a unique versatile 1:1 bi-componentself-amalgamating gel in an innovative dual compartmentbottle that provides fully submersible IP68 degree of protection.

What makes the product so unique? Not only can itbe used in two different ways, either as a traditionalpotting compound poured into an enclosure or as anIP68 gel putty (by letting the gel cross link first) but the gel is re-useable and re-enterable saving time and money!

Where can I use Magic Power Gel?Some examples:Swimming pools, ponds, pumps, outdoor lightingschemes, underground, harbours, sewerage systems.

Why should I use Magic Power Gel?

It’s very sticky and will stick to anything –however like the Magic Gel it leaves hands and surfaces dry after touch

Re-usable as well as re-enterable – This saves time and money every time youre-enter an enclosure because you can re-use whatyou have taken out. The saving on just one re-visit is40% compared to Magic Gel and this percentage increases every time you re-enter the enclosurefrom then on.

There’s no waste! If there is any product leftover in the jug providedsimply leave until it hascross-linked, pull out andplace in another containerfor another job

How do I use Magic Power Gel? Pot and Putt or Pour and Cure!

Magic Power Gel is mixed in a 1:1 ratio in the jug provided. Stir well until both halves of the mixture have come together (should take about 30 seconds or less):

You can use Magic Power Gel in the traditional method by simply pouring into an enclosure to seal and protect the connections inside:

The gel will only take 15 minutes to cross link but the enclosure can be energised immediately!

P.T.O(TIP! There is no need to wash the jug provided asthe product peels off very easily once cross-linkedand it can now be saved for use as gel putty)

It has no shelf life (even after the bottles have been opened)

The product is self amalgamating – once a piece is torn away and placed back to theoriginal mass it will become one rather than two stuck together

Pot boxes on ceilings/terminal stripboxes/conduit boxes etc to IP68 – this is now possible using the cure/putt method

or you may have some left over from another job!

Pre-prepare the product – to save time ifyou are in a rush or if thereare harsh weather conditions

it is now possible to pre-prepare at home or at work (see example below)

Easy to store and use bi-compartment bottle – reduces the risk of losing a bottle and allows accurate measurement

The gel has a small 3°C exothermic reaction when cross-linking – allowing quicker and consistent cross linking in cold weather conditions.

The Putt/Cure:

Pour the Magic Power Gel into the container provided and let it cross link (approx 15 minutes).Pull out and tear into small pieces packing the enclosure making sure you have completely coveredall terminals and connections to a level slightly above the enclosure walls and then replace lid. Of course if you have some left over from another job you could always use that:
