The 9th Degree of Grand Master Reiki enables the initiate to obtain a symbol whichhelps one to connect and receive the understandings and principlesof great happiness, luck and many blessings.

DIA FU KU

The Mantra, or the name of the symbol is Dai Fu Ku. The symbol is drawn in Japanese kanji and

represents its name (Dai Fu Ku). First of all one must draw this symbol of luck (True happiness) from thetop of the symbol, downwards, e.g. the above can be made to exist below. The symbol is used in the

meditation provided in this manual.

THE 9thDEGREE ATTUNEMENT DISCUSSION

This attunement ritual serves to make contact with the reiki energies of luck, and great happiness. Thismeditation should be performed daily for a minimum of 20 minutes. The effect of this meditation upon

the mind is tha one can begin to understand that luck and happiness lies within oneself, and this is clearly

shown in the bible. In Psalm 119, 56 (your instructions are to use the blessings, that to you was assigned

with), and teaches that it concerns the instructions of God to obey your divine right. In Lukas 10, 27 (itanswered and spoke: "you are the divine, you are of God, love from the whole of your heart, from the

burning fire of your soul, (5.Mose 6, 5; 3.Mose 19.18) clearly where these instructions are explained to

you in the lines above, and in Matthaeus 6, 33 (you are entitled to it by divine justice. You must first love

Page 3: The 9th Degree of Grand Master

your self as you would love all others. If you do as your divine inner being asks all that you wish for and

what you wiosh for others will be yours to command.

THE 9th DEGREE ATTUNEMENT DISCUSSION (CONTINUED)

One must love themselves and others and be full of acceptanceand forgiveness of their failings as we can accept the faults of

others. If this happens, one has demonstrated that they are

willing to recieve Gods great blessings and bountifull ness and

will find happiness in the smallest of things and will accept allof gods gifts of health and mentall well being and will be

primed to recieve all of the universes great bounty.Jesus said "First of all you must seek justice for yourself and

justice for others. Some people desire fame others desire

wealth. People often think that they want something, then they

realise it is not what they really want, so you must be clear inyour mind about what you really need, is it really money, or is

it the peace of mind money may bring? Is it good health or is

it love? One desire will lead to another but in desireknowledge will come, and to desire is to exist, it is to live,

once desire is totally fulfilled then the true meaning of existence will reveal itself to you.

MEDITATION TECHNIQUE USING THE 9th DEGREE SYMBOL

This technique is similar to the other "Dai" symbols. One sits

up straight with the feet pointing forward and visualises theDai Fu Ku in the form as given in this manual, then visualizes

the brightest light coming from above, down, into the crown

chakra and continuing to flows through the body until itfinally goes into and through the hands and feet. You will feel

the peace and energy of the universe flowing through you and

will realise the impermanance of this material life and the total power of the overpowering love of peace and tranquility which has come from the source.

9th DEGREE ATTUNEMENT RITUAL

The Ritual For Grand Master Reiki 9th Degree Ritual is as follows;

The initiate sits down comfortably on a chair. If there are severalinititiates, these can sit next to each other. The Grand Master does not

place themselves behind the initiates/s. Each initiate must do ther own

visualisations and each must pray as a Master initiate. Each initiatemust visualize a white bright light from above their crown chakra.

The Grand Master steps in at this point and draws with the palm of

their hand the Grand Master symbols, whilst visualizing and chantingthier names over the initiates palms of hands, crown, third eye, and

heart chakra: ( W= Wisdom symbol)

Attunement for Grand Master Reiki 9th Degree Symbols: (W), 4, 1, 9

Dai Ko Myo, Cho Ku Rey, Dai Fu Ku) the use of the wisdom symbolis optional, as long at it has been drawn once during the attunement.

Although if the Grand Master chooses it can be used to strengthen the

other symbols which depends on the Grand Masters intuition to decideif this is feasible.

GRAND MASTER 13th DEGREE REIKI

The Reiki Grand Master 13th Degree Reiki symbol helps us to access our inner teacher and answers our

Questions and in doing so enables us to carry out our life's work.

Grand Master 13 is presently thought to be the final Reikidegree, which was rediscovered by Roberta Rianad (Founder of Grand Reiki 13), consciously through a

meditation

Dai Hana

DAI HANA

The mantra or the name of the symbol is Dai Hana. The symbol is drawn in the Japanese Kanji and

represents its name (Dai Hana). The name Grolier means teacher when translated into German. The symbol is drawn from the top downwards and comes the symbolic expression as above so below

MEDITATION TECHNIQUE“This technique serves to establish a close connection with the Reiki energy. It should be used if we think

we need advice or help us to recognize our life's work. Great teachers mean, the union of our soul with

God.

The soul is the divine spark as the mystic master Eckhard indicated to us. The part of us which is theessence of God.

Every being has a life's work and it is our aim to fulfill this. This, however, isn't always that simple. For

this reason we need a master or teacher. Jesus is one such teacher and there are many other teachers to guide us and help us fulfill our life’s work.

We look for initiation so that we can be filled with the knowledge of that which is righteous, and by

practicing meditation this can also helps us to see what is best for us.”

13th DEGREE REIKI SYMBOL MEDITATION TECHNIQUE

First one must get into a comfortable position a comfortable armchair would be ok. One visualizes the

Dai Hana, sitting in the given form...One then visualizes a bright light coming from the universe a light of initiation which enters the crown of

the head bringing knowledge and cosmic understanding it permeates the entire body and the light atoms

of the spirit are bathed in its power then one visualizes this energy going thru the body in its entirety and

out thru the soles of the feet one will realize by intuition when this part is completed

ATTUNEMENT RITUAL

Here the ritual is described for the attunement in Reiki Grand Master 13.

ATTUNEMENT RITUAL TECHNIQUE

First of all the student must sit down on a chair .the master stands behind the initiate and puts his 2 hands

upon the initiates head.

The Grand Master then opens up the student to the initiation the master says a prayer aloud of thanksgiving then he or she visualizes a ray of light above the student and draws with the hand the foll owing

symbols on students Crown Chakra, Palms of Hands, Third eye, Heart Chakra;

SYMBOLS FOR  GRAND MASTER  REIKI 13:

(W) 4,  1, 13 (that is (W) Wisdom Symbol, Dai Ko My o, Cho Ku Rei, Dai Hana). Once the Wisdom

symbol has been drawn once over the student crown,  it is optional to draw it on palms of hands, third eye

and heart chakra, although it can be used to strengthen the other symbols. Therefore the Reiki Master must decide, using his/her own intuition what

is best for the student. The Master symbol is used for  every degree attunement

The Meditation with Dai Moku

This technique serves to help one get in close touch with the generating of Reikienergy. It should be done in order to recognize the true self.

The point is to look inward to recognize and identify with the self, instead of looking outward.

Looking outward awakens the survival impulse and desire for creature comforts, which prevents self – recognition.

Page 10: The 9th Degree of Grand Master

7/27/2019 The 9th Degree of Grand Master

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/the-9th-degree-of-grand-master 10/22

It is not at all necessary to be concentrated so much outwardly, since the eye of

God watches over us. This is what it means in the Gospel according to Matthew

“ Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall

drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the

body than clothing?

Behold the birds of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into

barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are ye not much better than they?

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

And why take thee thought for clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they

grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

And yet I say unto you, that even Soloman in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the

oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat or What shall we drink, or Wherewithal

shall we be clothed?

For after all these things do the nonbelievers seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth

that ye have a need of all these things.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added

unto you.“

It is thus clear that it is not necessary to look outward so much as to lose ourselves in the fight for survival. Instead we are to look inward.

Angelus Silesius already understood, that the realm of God in us can only be found through inwardintrospection. So it is important to recognize our inner self.

If this takes place, that which remains is given to us.

The technique found in this level helps us to recognize the true self.

The Technique

The technique is similar, as with the other Dai symbols.

One sits upright with the torso straight and closes the eyes. It is not important if one is in the Lotus

position, sitting with the feet stretched out forward or in a chair. It is that the torso is kept straight

and upright, the remainder is not important while meditating this way.

Sitting in the prescribed manner, one visualizes the Dai Moku. Then one visualizes a bright

light descending from the sky, entering through the crown chakra and flooding the entire body, until it

finally exits the body through the hands and feet.

With this Meditation, the candidate feels that while in contact with the universal life energy, that oneis loved and cared for. The strength of security and love gained from this practice empowers us as we

 journey through life.

When one feels intuitively that the Meditation has ended it is ok to open your eyes and stretch the body

and limbs to return back to full awareness.

The Ritual:

The candidate sits down on a chair. (If attuning several candidates, they can sit next to each other. It is not

necessary for the attunements to be separate).

The master stands behind the candidate and places both hands on the initiate’s head. (The attunements areindividual, even though the master works with several pupils. Everyone is attuned individually although

they are not separated).

The master prays a prayer of gratitude, visualizing a white light from above the crown chakra of the

initiate flowing into this area and draws with the hand or visualizes the following symbols:

For attunements into Reiki 14: 4, 1, 14 (thus Dai Ko Mio, Cho Ku Rei, Dai Moku)

There is only one attunement for each degree, however the master can naturally repeat the steps or re-

attune the candidates more than once. While it is unnecessary, it is feasible.

The Meditation with Dai Michi

This technique serves to help one get in close touch with the generating of Reiki energy. It

should be used as one seeks his life’s path or how to walk it directly so as to avoid pitfalls.

Buddhism teaches:

Page 15: The 9th Degree of Grand Master

7/27/2019 The 9th Degree of Grand Master

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/the-9th-degree-of-grand-master 15/22

For those who practice The Great Way, the central focus is development

of wisdom, spiritual love and compassion. Through it’s practice one finds a more

meaningful and enriched life. Frequently used by laymen, this way stresses not

the outside behavior, but that which is the original motivation. The method is

aimed at helping one to perfect one’s own abilities and utilize those abilities in

the best possible manner. The final result of this way is to attain Buddhahood,

in which all mental characteristics are brought to full development and maturity.

Therefore, it is in one’s best interest then to develop one’s abilities as we walk life’spathway. It is interesting to examine the way the word Talent translates to

hundredweight of silver in the Luther Bible. All that God has entrusted to man was designed

to allow him to live profitably. It is important to understand that the use of profitably does

not necessarily mean financially. But it means to live one’s life meaningfully and live an

enriched existence. In Matthaeus (Matthew) 25 it is said in this way:

Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrustedhis property to them.15  To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another onetalent, eachaccording to his ability. Then he went on his journey.

16 The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work andgained five more.

17 So also, the one with the two talents gained two more.18 But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground andhid hismaster's money. 19 After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.20  The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. 'Master,' he said,'you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.'21 Hi s master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with afew things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share yourmaster's happiness!'

22 The man with the two talents also came. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me withtwo talents; see, I have gained two more.'23 His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with afew things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share yourmaster's happiness!'

24 Then the man who had received the one talent came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that youare a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you havenot scattered seed.25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongsto  you.'

26 Hi s master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I havenot sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when Ireturned I would have received it back with interest.28 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents.

29 For ever yone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever doesnot have, even what he has will be taken from him.

30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will beweeping and gnashing of teeth.' Utilizing the following technique helps us to recognize which abilities we to have, and

as we use them we enrich our life and the lives of others.

REIKI 18. Degree

REIKI 18

The 18 ° degree Reiki provides a symbol which helps inner-based maturityand spiritual wisdom. While in Reiki 17 you went to the temple to learn the divine

will, in Reiki level 18 you will learn to obtain wisdom.

The Reiki 18 symbol was taught to Roberta Rianad from spirit guides.

The Reiki Symbol 18

The mantra, or the name of the symbol is Dai Tetsu. The icon is painted or drawn in

Japanese kanji and provides its name (Dai Tetsu) dar. translated into English the name means: theGreatWisdom.

The icon is drawn from top to bottom, the exact sequence does not matter.

Wisdom in Buddhism is the notion of Synyata (sanskrit). It is the realization tha allphenomena appear devoid of separate individual beings. The realization of Sunyata in theperception of self and phenomena (extra sensory perception) is therefore a fundamentalexperience in achieving enlightenment. In Hinduism it is called wisdom and knowledge

Page 19: The 9th Degree of Grand Master

7/27/2019 The 9th Degree of Grand Master

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/the-9th-degree-of-grand-master 19/22

Vidya (Sanskrit). It was last dissolved the dualism, the idea first to stop at the moment tobe, or of simply Be-ing.Wisdom without knowledge is thus knowledge. It is not stored or programmed. Wisdom isobtained by love for the world and brings out the good.Wisdom is nothing more than, to let go and let God completely. This will, first, dissolve thedualism, and secondly, makes access to intuition possible. Intuition is nothing more thanaccess to full knowledge. Through ignorance alone, you just get access to all knowledge. This symbol makes this paradox clearly.

Definition of St.

Augustine

Because wisdom is ultimately nothing more than the measure of our mind, so this is kept in balance so

that neither the excessive extravagance, nor inadequacy are in control.

Waste, power, arrogance and the like, which grow out of proportion and control, cause weak people to feel pleasure and power to be

able to let the ego grossly inflate.

Greed, fear, sadness, envy, etc., which leads to disaster - as theunfortunate even admit

- end it.  But the spirit in which wisdom is found, then holds the gaze firmly on

them and keeps these things in balance... then he needs neither restraint nor lacks temperance,

unhappiness or fear.

Then he has his degree and has mastered these lessons and has achieved wisdom

and is always happy

From St. Augustine: About Happiness 4.35 Meditation is a vital helper method, which takes place just

as wisdom. Both wisdom and happiness are strengthened and enhanced, but independently.

Meditation with Dai Tetsu

The techniqueThe technique is similar, as the other symbols Dai.

It deals with just upper body upright and you close your eyes. It does not matter whether the Lotus headquarters, sit comfortably with your feet to the front or sitting on a chair. It is

important that the upper body is upright, the rest is your own preference.

In the form indicated sitting position, visualize the Dai Tetsu. Then visualize a bright lightfrom heaven which, flows in the Crown chakra and through the body until it is finally through

the hands and feet, and comes out again.

One senses in this meditation, in contact with the universal life energy that we are in alifetime of change, and that we should prepare for a new era.

If you intuitively feel that the meditation is finished, it is enough. Open your eyes and

move, to once again be completely in the here and now.

Attunement Ritual

Here the ritual of initiation into Reiki 18.

The ritual:

The student sits down on a chair.

Page 20: The 9th Degree of Grand Master

7/27/2019 The 9th Degree of Grand Master

(When more than one student can sit side

by side, it is not necessary to Student to be isolated).

The Master is behind the Student and places both hands on the student’s

head.

(The Attunements are given individually, thus inaugurating the master for

 several students, each one individually).

The master prays and gives thanks. Visualize a white light above the Crown

chakra of the Student and allow the energies to flow through your hands, or

visualize the following symbols:

For Reiki Initiations 18: 4, 1, 18

(Also Dai Ko Mio, Cho Ku Rei, Dai Tetsu)

There is for every one degree ceremony, the master of course, but can alsomake more.

This is unnecessary, but doable.

way as Reiki during

meditation.

Founded by Usui Grandmaster Roberta Rianand, these are the only levels at this time which run onto the

eagerly awaited level
