The case depicts the scenario of the networking system at the ATHENS 2004 OLYMPICS. It shows how the networking system was designed and what all problems it dealt with. The case also depicts the system configuration of the software which was used to control and manage the activities at the Olympic games.

To prevent loss of important information back-up of data were created.

They used VLANS( Virtual Local area network) to simplify troubleshooting and to limit damage if any one managed to break into the network.
