Day 1 & 2 – USA to theHoly Land Your pilgrimage begins asyou depart the USA on anovernight flight. You will bewelcomed to the Holy Landby our airportrepresentative andtransferred to your hotelwhere you will enjoy dinnerbefore retiring for the night.

Day 3 – The GalileeThis morning, pray andsing hymns as you crossthe waters of the Sea ofGalilee by boat. Next,travel to Capernaum, thecenter of Jesus’ ministry.Visit the synagogue on thesite where Jesus taught(Matt. 4:13, 23). At theMount of Beatitudes, readthe Sermon on the Mount(Matt. 5-7). Visit theChurch of the Fish andthe Loaves at Tabgha, thetraditional location for thefeeding of the 5,000 (Luke9:10-17). Visit the Chapelof the Primacy, wherePeter professed hisdevotion to the risen Christ(John 21). End your dayremembering Jesus’Baptism at the JordanRiver.

Day 4 – Cana, Nazareth,Megiddo & Caesarea Visit the FranciscanWedding Church in Cana,where Jesus perfomed hisfirst miracle by changingwater into wine (John 2).Visit Nazareth, Jesus’boyhood home (Matthew 2:23). Overlook Tel Megiddo(Armegeddon). End yourday at Caesarea, a centerof the early Christians.Here is where an angelvisited Cornelius, the firstGentile convert (Acts 10)and Paul was imprisonedfor two years (Acts 23: 22).

Day 5 – Jericho, Qumran& the Mount of Olives Travel to Jericho and visitthe ruins of the “World’sOldest City.” From this cityonce conquered by Joshua,(Josh. 6: 1, 2, 20) you cansee the traditional site ofthe Temptation of Jesus(Matt. 4: 1-11). Travel toQumran, where the DeadSea Scrolls werediscovered in 1947. Endyour day with a grouppicture taken atop theMount of Olives, whereJesus ascended into heaven (Acts 1: 9-12).

Day 6 – Bethlehem &JerusalemVisit Bethlehem, where thecave revered as Jesus’birthplace resides in theworld’s oldest functioningchurch (Matt. 1: 18-25).Nearby you’ll see theShepherds Fields, wherethe Good News was firstheard. View the Herodion.Return to Jerusalem topray in the Garden ofGethsemane (Matt. 26: 36-44). Continue to MountZion to visit the House ofthe High Priest Caiaphas,where Jesus wasquestioned (Matt. 26: 57-65). Finally, the LastSupper comes to life asyou visit the Upper Room(Mark 14: 12-26).

Day 7 – Jerusalem & theOld City Take time to pray at theWestern Wall. Sit on theTeaching Steps, whereJesus once taught. Walkthe Cardo, main street ofthe Old City. View the Poolof Bethesda, where Jesusperformed the Sabbathmiracle (John 5: 1-31). Singa hymn in the Church ofSt. Anne, known for itsamazing acoustics. VisitHerod’s Antonia Fortress,where Jesus was broughtbefore Pontius Pilate (Luke23: 1-11). Walk the ViaDolorosa, “the Way of theCross,” and stand inreverence at the Church ofthe Holy Sepulchre.

Day 8 – Leisure Day (Masada/Dead Sea option) Explore on-your-own orvisit Masada and the DeadSea (additional charge).Masada was Herod’smountaintop fortress andthe last stronghold of theJewish Rebellion againstthe Romans. It was nameda UNESCO World Heritagesite in 2001. End your daywith a quick dip in the saltand mineral-laden watersof the Dead Sea.

Day 9 – Jerusalem Travel to Ein Karem,known as the birthplace ofJohn the Baptist and theplace where the VirginMary visited Elisabeth(Luke 1: 26-40). Visit YadVashem, Israel’s HolocaustMemorial. Your finaldestination allows time forreflection at the GardenTomb.

Additionally, thereafter, you will be charged any airline penalties and asingle room supplement if your cancellation forces your roommate into a single plus thefollowing charges: 104-60 days = $400; 59-45 days = $600; 44-31 days = 40% of total cost; 30days to day of departure = 100% of total cost. In addition, cancellation fees for Nile Cruise are:59-31 days = 25% of extension cost; 30-0 days = 100%.Submit cancellation in writing.
