WORLD AT OUR HOME – a training course on human rights under Erasmus +
BACKGROUND Semper Avanti is a Polish youth association working with young people both
locally and regionally as well internationally and globally since 2001. Currently
the association works in 3 main fields:
youth and democracy
youth on the labour market
youth and tolerance
Youth and tolerance is the oldest and most rooted part of our work being in the
same time the one we still devote most of our hearts to.
This training course is an another step in promoting active participation in
promotion of human rights, in developing knowledge about them and in shaping
attitudes and approaches towards other human beings.
We are more than happy to invite you to our 3rd edition of international training
for human rights educators and practitioners in Poland this summer.

WORLD AT OUR HOME – a training course on human rights under Erasmus +
CONCEPT
Participants from 5 countries: Croatia, Italy, Romania, Turkey and Poland,
representing 8 organizations, in the total number of 18 participants will meet in
August in Poland to learn about human rights concept and methods and
tools of non- formal education.
Each partner organization shall be represented by following number of
participants:
1. Italy - MESHY (Media Education Sustainability, Hospitality, Yeah) -2
participants
2. Italy - JUMP IN – 2 participants
3. Croatia - Ocean Znanja – 3 participants
4. Romania - Future in Progress – 2 participants
5. Romania- Asociaţia Tinerii 3D – 2 participants
6. Turkey - Izmir Valiligi – 2 participants
7. Turkey – GO (Genclik Organizasyonlari Dernegi) – 2 participants
8. Poland – Semper Avanti – 3 participants
NOTICE: Each partner organization shall delegate 2 participants apart from
Croatia and Poland, who shall delegate 3 participants each.
BASIC INFORMATION and TAVEL
Time: 8TH – 15th August 2015
8th August (Saturday) is s day for arrivals while 15th August (Saturday) is a day
for departures. The programme will cover 6 full working days from Sunday till
Friday.
WORLD AT OUR HOME – a training course on human rights under Erasmus +
Arrivals.
Participants are asked to arrive on 8th August before 5:00 pm to Wrocław. From
there we will take a common bus to Nowy Gierałtów1. For those who plan to get
to the venue by themselves, we kindly ask you to be on the spot at 8:30 pm as
at this time a common dinner is planned, where introduction to the project,
schedule, organizers and basic rules and regulations will be presented.
Departures.
Participants are asked to plan departures on 15th August.
NOTICE: As Wrocław sightseeing has been scheduled for the last working day of
the training course, the last day (Friday 14th August) and the last night we will
spent in the Wrocław city. Please keep it in mind when planning your travel.
NOTICE: The nearest airports are in Wrocław, Prague (ca 4h to Wrocław), Berlin
ca 3,5h to Wrocław).
Please keep in mind, that a common pick up will be organized from Wrocław
ONLY.
NOTICE: According to National Agency regulations, an earlier arrival is possible
up to 2 days before the project starts and late departure is possible up to 2 days
after the project finished.
1 One can try to travel by themselves, however, the public transportation is not easy We strongly
recommend our pic up in Wrocław.
Please, plan your travel according to the given framework in advance to
avoid stress and hectic in the future

NOTICE: Please keep in mind, that the above sums are FIXED LUMP SUMS
and this is the maxium given limit up to which a participant will be reimbursed. IMPORTANT: to be able to reimburse your travel cost, we will need a document
proving that the journey took place (eg. copy of a plane ticket) and a request for reimbursement with a bank account number including all the international codes:
IBAN and BIC and SWIFT as well your bank address. We do not need the original tickets.
Please, before throwing other travel documents away, make sure that
your organization does not need them

is a village south-western Poland,
near the border with the Czech
Republic. Prior to 1945 it was in
Germany. It lies approximately 92 km

Participants will be accommodated in double, triple and quadruple rooms.
There will be rather no internet connection on the spot
Access to mobile networks might be also very limited.

SECURITY AND SAFETY
Special dietary requirements.
All participants are encouraged to share any dietary issues they might have – the
organizers would need to know about vegetarians, vegans and all the other
special diets which would need to be taken under consideration when preparing
the proper boarding.
Insurance.
The travel insurance (health and luggage) shall be organized and paid, if needed,
by participants on their own.
Medical assistance.
All participants are strongly encouraged to take with them any special medicines
they might need during the seminar. There will be a first aid kit available at the
venue, however, only basic medicines will be there such as headache pills.
Notice - the seminar venue is located in a quite isolated area and the access to a
pharmacy might be limited.
NOTICE: Please keep in mind, that there is no shop in the village
ALCOHOL AND SMOKING
There is no – smoking policy in the whole building where the training will be
taking place. According to Polish law introduced in 2010, smoking is forbidden in
all public places such as restaurants and bars unless they are specially prepared
and have a smoking sign.
For smokers, there will be trash ashtrays placed outside the building.
Drinking alcohol is allowed during free time, not during the daily activities.

1,5 PLN.
A 30 min for all lines ticket costs the same as above.
A 60 min ticket for all lines costs 4,40 PLN and 2,20 PLN respectively
A 90 min ticket for all lines costs 6 PLN and 3 PLN respectively.
