MAIN TOPICS, ROUND TABLES and SYMPOSIUM
The 13th Ceramics, Cells and Tissues ( 13th CCT ) will discuss about Science and Technology of Biomaterials, with
particular reference to Bioceramics for implants as inert, bioactive, in bulk and as coating and as injectable cements.
Through multidisciplinary disciplines, involving materials and medical science, a particular attention will be devoted to surface engineering , nanotechnology and biomolecular tools. The aim is to treat about the innovative solutions for the
health Medicine, making reference to Science from the evolutianory biologists, evolutionary anthropologists, evolutio-
nary genetists point of view. A particulary attention will be devoted to nanotechnology able to support a new generation of "smart materials " to solve a lot of biomedical problems.
THE MAIN TOPICS:
• The human project: from birth to aging.
• From Bionic man to....tissue and genetic engineering • The new Ceramic coatings
• Stem Cells for Bone regeneration
• The role of electromagnetic field in the biological processes. • How communicate , among them, the cells, involving genes.
• How the drugs are metabolized when released by a scaffold?
• Nanoscience and nanotechnology for biomedical field. • The role of sacrificed animals in the field of medical research and possible alternatives.
• The different ages of the brain: from down to dusk.
• Intellectual properties for the man health. • Transformation of the bone tissues with aging and involved postural problems.
• The role of surface in tissue-support interface • Ceramics, glass-ceramics, polymers, composites as scaffolds to host cells and active principles
• Microrobot for the regenerative medicine
ROUND TABLES are forecasted about the upper reported topics.
• The innovative coronary stents
• New frontiers of longevity
SIMPOSIUM on “Geology and thermalism for health” will be promoted.
Informative details: [email protected]
The 7th Edition of “PROGETTO GIACOBBE” will be proposed about “How to regene-
rate the Human body during its evaluation, when struck by congenital or acquired
trauma and /or by aging”.
SOME TRADITIONAL SOCIAL EVENTS LINKED TO 13CCT
• The 8th CCT prize award for a young resercher
• Special prize for the traditional international artistic competition with the title “GENERATION AND
REGENERATION: IN BETWEEN CONSCIENCE, KNOWLEDGE RATIONALITY AND FAITH”
