A walk-in interview will be held on 25 March, 2013 for a temporary position of Research Associate underDBT-Twinning Project entitled “Understanding codon usage bias in organisms”. The Principal Investigator of the project is Dr. Suvendra Kumar Ray ([email protected]), Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University.
Interested candidates may appear before the interview board at 10.00 am on 25 March, 2013 at the Office of the Head, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, with original documents and photocopies of mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate and a copy of curriculum vitae (CV).
Educational Qualification: Candidates having Ph.D. degree or have submitted thesis in fields related to Genomics/Computational Biology/Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology with knowledge of gene and protein sequence analysis may apply. Candidates having M.Tech. degree/in the final Semester of their M.Tech. in fields related to Bioinformatics/Information technology with knowledge in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology may apply. Candidates must have mathematics as a course in their 10+2 Sc.
Remuneration:Rs.22,000/- (Rupees twenty two thousand) only + 10% HRA per month for the first years and Rs. 23,000/- (Rupees twenty three thousand) only + 10% HRA per month for the second year.
Duration: Two (02) years or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Age: Candidate should not be more that 35 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST /OBC /Women / Physically Challenged /Experienced candidates.
