Thailand Textile Institute (THTI) is a non-profit organization with the main duty to support and

develop Thai textile and garment industries, with the aim towards sustainable progress and keen

competitiveness in the World market. THTI has been founded by the Cabinet resolution on October

15, 1996, as a result of the initiative efforts from all textile and garment associations and with the

approval of the Ministry of Industry. The vision of THTI has been to support and enhance the capability

and the competitiveness to Thai textile and garment industries including the small and medium

enterprises. THTI, later, extends its service function to the fashion industry

ศูนยวิเคราะหทดสอบส่ิงทอ สถาบันพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมส่ิงทอ ต้ังข้ึนโดยมีวัตถุประสงคหลักเพ่ือเปนหองปฏิบัติการทดสอบส่ิงทอท่ีเปนกลางใหกับผูประกอบการดานส่ิงทอเคร่ืองนุงหมและผูสงออกส่ิงทอของประเทศไทย

ปจจุบันศูนยวิเคราะหฯ เปนหองปฏิบัติการทดสอบท่ีใหญท่ีสุดแหงหน่ึงในอาเซียน พรอมดวยอุปกรณทดสอบและ

วิเคราะหที่ทันสมัยอยางครบครัน สามารถใหบริการวิเคราะหทดสอบคุณภาพผลิตภัณฑ สิ่งทอ เครื่องนุงหม

อยางถูกตอง แมนยำ และเช่ือถือไดตามมาตรฐานสากลของประเทศในภูมิภาคยุโรป อเมริกา ญ่ีปุน เยอรมันฯลฯ

นอกจากนี้ศูนยวิเคราะหฯ ยังใหคำปรึกษาแนะนำบริการดานการจัดสัมมนาฝกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการและใหการ

สนับสนุนการวิจัยพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑใหกับอุตสาหกรรมส่ิงทอ โดยเฉพาะอุตสาหกรรมขนาดกลางและขนาดยอม

เพื่อความเชื่อถือและยอมรับในระดับประเทศและตางประเทศ และเปนการสงเสริมภาพพจนของหอง

ปฏิบัติการ ศูนยวิเคราะหฯ จึงมีความมุงม่ันในการไดรับการรับรอง ISO/IEC 17025 เพ่ือทำใหศูนยวิเคราะหฯ มี

การดำเนินงานท่ีดีไดมาตรฐานและมีการพัฒนาปรับปรุงอยางตอเน่ือง ศูนยฯไดรับการรับรองความสามารถหอง

ปฏิบัติการทดสอบมาตรฐาน ISO/IEC 17025 จากสำนักงานมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑอุตสาหกรรม (สมอ.) ในเดือน

ธันวาคม พ.ศ.2546 และไดขยายขอบขายการรับรองเพิ่มทุกป ปจจุบัน (2553) ไดการรับรอง 23 รายการ 59

มาตรฐาน นอกจากน้ีเพ่ือการบริการอยางรวดเร็ว ถูกตอง ศูนยฯจึงนำระบบการจัดการขอมูลหองปฏิบัติการ (LIMS)

มาใชในระบบอีกดวย

Textile Testing Centre (TTC), a division of Thailand Textile Institute (THTI), is now one of Asean's

biggest independent textile testing laboratory and is fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art

testing facilities & equipments determine to serving the manufacturers and exporters of textiles &

garments in Thailand. The laboratory has an international recognition for its accuracy & reliability of

quality assessments, and is widely known as a one-stop centre that offers full cycle of services, ranging

from textile materials tests, quality assurance, research for product innovations & developments,

consultation, special training and workshops etc.

By employing advanced testing equipment under the supervision & control of highly experienced

scientists and personnel, TTC is able to analyze all kinds of textile materials, from fibre to finished

products, to meet any specified international standards precisely within the target schedule.

To ensure optimum customer satisfaction at all levels, customised package/service is available

upon request to suit individual’s requirement at a competitive price, including sample pick-up service.

The centre also provides training in textile testing for small and medium sized enterprises throughout

the country.

In order to ensure the correct, reliable and standard quality testing, TTC has been accredited

for ISO/IEC 17025 by Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) in December 2003. At present 23

testing items (59 standards) have been accredited. TTC is currently extending the scope of

accreditation, and will continuously. Moreover, TTC has used World class laboratory information

management system (LIMS) for quick response

- บริการดวน (Express) ใชเวลา 3 วันทำการ (เฉพาะบางรายการทดสอบ) คิดคาบริการเพ่ิม 40 %

- บริการดวนพิเศษ (Double Express) ใชเวลา 2 วันทำการ (เฉพาะบางรายการทดสอบ) คิดคาบริการ

- สงตัวอยางทดสอบกอน 12.00 น. จะนับวันท่ีมาสงตัวอยางเปนวันแรกของวันทำการ

- สงตัวอยางทดสอบหลัง 12.00 น. จะนับวันรุงขึ้นเปนวันแรกของวันทำการ

- สวนลดพิเศษสำหรับหนวยงานของรัฐบาล งานวิจัยและสมาชิกศูนยวิเคราะหทดสอบ

Service conditions:

- TTC customer service hours: Monday - Friday 8.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. (No lunch break)

- Pick-up service is available in Bangkok and some area around Bangkok

- Turn around times are as follows

- Regular service 4-5 working days.

- Express service 3 working days with 40% additional charge (some test only).

- Double express service 2 working days with 70% additional charge (some test only).

- Same day service with 100% additional charge (some test only).

- For samples received before 12.00 p.m., the working day with be counted on that day.

- For samples received after 12.00 p.m., the working day with be counted from the following

การประเมินประสิทธิภาพของการตานแบคทีเรียบนผลิตภัณฑสิ่งทอมีหลายมาตรฐานท่ีใชทดสอบ สามารถแบงวิธีทดสอบไดเปน 2 แบบ ดังนี้ • • การทดสอบเชิงคุณภาพการทดสอบเชิงคุณภาพ เปนการประเมินประสิทธิภาพของการตานแบคทีเรียอยางคราวๆจากการเติบโตของแบคทีเรียใตชิ้นทดสอบและขอบเขตการยับยั้งการเติบโตของ

แบคทีเรีย (Clear zone of inhibition) หลังจากการบมในระยะเวลาที่กำหนด เชน

Assessments of antibacterial activity on textile materialshave many standards. There are 2 categories:

• Qualitative Test : this method is useful for obtaining a rough estimate of

activity by examination of the growth of bacteria beneath textile material and

clear zone of inhibition after incubation . The standard methods are AATCC

147, AATCC 174 part 1, ISO 20645, JIS L 1902, etc.

• Quantitative Test: this method is evaluation degree of antibacterial activity

by number of growth bacteria after incubation. The result are presented as

reduction value of bacteria. The standard methods are AATCC 100, AATCC

174 part 2, JIS L 1902 etc.
