TetrashorTetrashor is a lightweight modular lattice propping system that significantly improves productivity on site. Reduced material costs, improved versatility and ease of use mean that Tetrashor provides performance not found in other shoring systems.

Options for either controlled load application and removal using a hydraulic jack or rapid unloading using the Tetrashor KwikStrike Unit.

KwikStrike load releaseThe KwikStrike load release is an innovative unit used in the assembly of Tetrashor Props type 1 and 2 to facilitate the fast and efficient release of the load in the jack.

Lightweight and manhandleableIn spite of the high load capacity, Tetrashor remains a lightweight and portable product that can be hand-carried on site.

VersatileTetrashor legs can be used as individual props, either horizontally, vertically or inclined for façade retention, or grouped together, to form either a linear support structure or high load capacity towers.

Compatible with Rapidshor, Megashor and SuperslimTetrashor is compatible with other RMD Kwikform products and systems to guarantee maximum efficiency and versatility

In DetailTetrashor tilt plate (w or w/o dome)The tilt plate has an allowable working load of 200 kN at any angle when connected with the spindle jack and 400 kN at tilt angles up to 15 degrees with an added cast dome. The holes in the base are compatible with Megashor accessories.

Tetrashor pyramid headThe Tetrashor pyramid head is either bolted directly to the soffit using a single pre-installed stud anchor or can be used with the Neoprene Bearing at the head of a Tetrashor prop. Both details ensure even distribution of the load evenly between the four Rapidshor standards that make up the Tetrashore leg.Applications

Tetrashor legs can be used as multi-purpose individual props for heights up to 17 m, but the legs can also be grouped together using Rapidshor ledgers and braces to form linear support structures. High load capacity Tetrashor towers (1200 kN) can also be formed for use in laterally top-restrained applications.

In DetailTetrashor legsThe Tetrashor legs are fabricated from four Rapidshor legs with 12 mm diameter welded high yield steel lattice bracing. They are available in three different lengths: 1.5 m, 2 m and 2.5 m and their allowable working load is 400 kN.

Five different prop variantsTetrashor offers five prop variants, with varying levels of adjustment possibilities.

KwikStrike load release mechanismAn innovative unit used in the assembly of Tetrashor Props type 1 and 2 to facilitate the fast and efficient release of the load in the jack. The load can be released by undoing the securing bolt and rotating the stripping collar handle either by hitting with a club hammer or by using a short scaffold tube lever.

Tetrashor jack adapterThe Tetrashor jack adapter slips over the end of Tetrashor legs and is secured with four safepins. It is compatible with the Megashor jack, Slimshor jack and Superslim push/pull prop jack.
