R&D TechnologicalAchievements

During the year, a turnover ofRs 2720 core

was achieved by commercializing productsand systems developed through in-houseR&D. Credit for products and systems whichhave been commercialized during the lastfive years only has been taken.

An amount ofRs 253 core was spent on R&Dactivities during the year. Of this, Rs 244

crore was spent on revenue expenditure,focusing on new productand systemdevelopments and improvements in existingproducts for cost effectiveness and higherreliability, efficiency, availability,quality, etc. In addition, an expenditure ofRs8 crore has been incurred for purchase ofcapital assets for R&D.

Procedure First of all, an advanced application was

received from the applier and all thecalculations were there by made as

per above notifications. Then Advanced sum was paid and a

receipt was taken from the applier.

In the other case of Medical and others,claimis received and they arechecked as per there entitlement andare recovered through

supplementary salary.

CONCLUSION

The Transparency of the BHELEmployees was tested during thisexperience and it also helped to

recognize the Procedural waysthrough which the Benefits of theGovt. Employees are disbursed

through various methods in variouscases.
