9 WELCOME Welcome to Week 10, our last week for Term 3. Last Thursday our students performed our school musical Home Among the Gum Trees for family and friends. I was very proud of each and every student’s effort on this day and leading up to this amazing performance. I would like to thank Mrs Clark and the wonderful team at Upper Orara Public School (Mrs L-S, Reidena, Mrs Teale) for the effort they put in to make this an amazing experience for our students. I would also like to thank Mr A, Courtney Shapter, Lalla Jones, Caroline Saunders, Bianca Spence, Sonya Engelhardt, Jemma Kirkby and Marsha McLennan, without your help the performance would not have had props, background, masks etc.

This week we have our Parent Information Session commencing at 3:15pm on Wednesday afternoon. Thursday morning we have our end

of Term 3 assembly commencing at 9:15am. Friday is the last day of Term 3. Please have a safe and happy break. Students commence Term 4 on Monday 15th October. LIBRARY DESK TENDER To create more room in our library we are tendering the desk shown in the photo below. We have sent home a form for you to complete should you be interested. Information is outlined on the accompanying form.

2019 KINDERGARTEN ENROLMENTS Do you have a child at home or know of a child who will be commencing Kindergarten in 2019? Please drop into the office or call us on 6653 8255 so we can add their name to our 2019 kindergarten enrolment list. An orientation flyer and enrolment forms are now available for parents to collect from the office. 2019 KINDERGARTEN TRANSITION This year Upper Orara Public School will be hosting 3 transition days for our new 2019 Kindergarten students. These will take place on Thursday 25th October at 9:30-11am Wednesday 31st October at 12:30-1:50 Wednesday 7th November at 2-3pm. Please note the changes to the second and third transition days. Parents of new students are encouraged and welcome to attend our Parent Information Session being held on Wednesday 26th September commencing at 3:15pm. Information packs and enrolment forms will be available at the Parent Information Session or can be collected at the school’s office.
