His Neil Flambé Capers is now at six books. Throw Julia Child, James Bond, Gordon Ramsay and a young Sherlock Holmes into a blender. Hit “mix” and out comes Neil Flambé. He’s cocky, obnoxious, but incredibly talented, both in the kitchen and on the hunt for criminals. His sci-fi series MINRs is already a bestseller and critical success. MINRS was a Red Maple and MYRCA Honour Book in 2017. MINRS3, the final book in the series, will be out in 2018. As a former sports broadcaster Kevin will be at home in the school gym: He illustrated GREAT (with Glen Gretzky and Lauri Holomis). Kevin’s non-fiction titles include Follow Your Money, Basketballogy, Baseballogy, Sports Hall of Weird and Gold Medal for Weird. Telling Tales is a national organization that began in Hamilton. Now in its tenth year, Telling Tales delivers outstanding literary programming for children and youth that raises awareness of the importance of literacy in our communities.
